We spent a long weekend with two children and dog in the cabin by the forest and felt very comfortable. We have been lovingly cared for, Ellen is a fantastic host, very helpful and friendly. The cabin has an incredibly good indoor climate. In the photos, you get the impression that the cabin is absolutely secluded. However, it is close to the host's home, which is not a problem because you are still on your own and are on the other three sides, forest and meadows. Just good to know if you're looking for a secluded location.

Really great place in a very idyllic location. The apartment is equipped with everything needed and also very cozy. The sauna is perfect for two and heats up quickly. All in all, we felt totally comfortable from the beginning! Highly recommend!

There is not a better Abnb to be found around the Salzburg area! This modernly designed accommodation is truly perfect. Quiet, peaceful, from the creek below to the short walk into Mondsee square and all it's beauty and history, 5+ stars! A pleasure meeting Julie, David and their beautiful family. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, especially with a thoughtful gesture that was so kind. We wouldn't stay anywhere else on our next visit!

Quaint cabin on the edge of the forest - Recreation

We stayed at Renate's cabin for 14 days- we loved it, everything you could need has been thought of in the cottage,it is very clean and you feel very homely,from the first entry. The 3 sheep are a lot of joy,they stop by curiously every now and then, when they come home, they welcome you to blossom! In the evening we could follow the flying arts of the bat nature & idyll pure. There is no Wi-Fi,no TV,no radio and partly no cell phone reception - rarely in today's hectic time and just the right thing to really slow down! The surroundings are wonderful for hiking right away. Tip:the mountain farm shop ( within walking distance) is definitely worth a visit:very tasty meat and much more,which can then be prepared perfectly on the kitchen witch in the house! The Criminal Museum in Scharnstein Castle is also worth a visit (not with children). We say thank you for hospitality and unforgettable days!

Our check in with Max and the introduction to the place were very nice and all questions were answered. We felt very comfortable at the Mountain Lodge. And the view is great. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, this is the place to be! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Idyllic apartment, tastefully & lovingly furnished , right by the forest. Johanna and her family as well as her dog made us feel welcome. A place to relax, arrive and forget the stress of everyday life. The nearest larger towns are also only 10-15 minutes by car. Everything worked out :-)

Stayed here for the second time. It was a very nice and relaxing holiday again☺️. We didn't lack anything. Jan was always available and also asks in between how you are doing and if you need anything. We also had the opportunity to rent horseback riding and bikes there. It was a bit difficult to get up and down by car because of the weather conditions and the holes in the ground but we managed😀. Thank you Jan, for the lovely holiday and see you next time😉.

Beautiful house with a great view over the forest. We loved the fireplace, the cozy atmosphere, view from the porch and the peacefulness of it all. We went on a few nice hikes in the area and enjoyed a quiet weekend getaway. It is a bit pricey but we still absolutely loved our stay.

We had two wonderful weeks in Andreas and Melitta's house. The house is very modern, clean, stylish and really fully equipped. The large balcony is very private and has a great view. Nearby there are many different beautiful hikes to do. The communication with Andreas and Melitta was very smooth and friendly. This is a great option if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet stay in nature.

We had a short but super nice stay on the Kern Alm and will certainly come back. The apartment is very clean and modern and corresponds 100% to the photos. The view is breathtaking. We traveled with a dog and were able to play with our dog on all meadows around the house. It was a really very nice time

We felt right at home from the beginning in this very cozy house from the 1700 century. It was simple but very cozy, clean and tidy. Within a few minutes' walk there were a few restaurants where you can eat cheaply and well. The mill was also a few minutes' walk away and invited you to a free refreshing bath. If we did nothing for a day, we were able to make ourselves comfortable in the extensive garden and enjoy the peace and nature. For those who want a relaxing holiday in natural surroundings and don't need frills, this is the perfect place to stay. Thank you for everything 🙏

Very nice house for families. The facility leaves nothing to be desired. There was nothing that wasn't there. Of course, a dishwasher is always especially great 😁 The ambiance was very cozy and typically Austrian (meant positively). There was a lot for children, whether it's toys, high chairs, or a play corner. Wonderful! You were also greeted with homemade jam and there was a wine to say goodbye. Better and nicer is not 😊 clear recommendation from us. 5/5 stars.

The listing is a dream! Impeccably furnished with a stunning view, the space is absolutely fantastic. Emanuel was a fantastic host: fast to reply, proactive, and easy going. The fridge even came stocked with bubbly water, red bulls, and local beer! He was also very accommodating to our request for a baby crib. The neighborhood is gorgeous, lots of trails to walk/hike and just a dream. I would strongly recommend this listing to anyone and I hope to return. Thank you Emanuel!

The cabin was really great, nothing was missing. The hosts have put a lot of effort into the decor and amenities. In addition, we were lovingly welcomed with a welcome card and a small sweet greeting. It was very quiet and the area is just fantastic for hiking. We will definitely come back!!
