Killeavy Cottage

We had a great stay, the location was amazing with stunning views in the heart of the countryside but not far from amenities in Newry. The cottage was lovely, we felt right at home and was spotlessly clean. The hot tub was a fab edition, wish we could have stayed longer! Glenn’s communication was great, gave us all the information we needed before our stay. Would definately recommend and we would love to come back!

Maggie's Cottage

SheaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
i honestly can't say enough positive things about Maggie’s Cottage. My husband and I stayed at Maggie’s Cottage for 7 nights! Booking this cottage was one of the best decisions of our trip! This cottage was better than any 5 star hotel you could stay at! The cottage was immaculate and the views are stunning! Mary Jo and Cam thought of everything and the arrival gift put it over the top! We enjoyed the views, the beautiful ammenties, the relaxing hot tub, and listening to the sheep! They made our vacation more memorable! We were so impressed and I’m so thankful we were able to stay here!!! You will not be disappointed booking this beautiful cottage! Thank you Mary Jo and Cam for a wonderful week!

This was our second stay with Margaret and again we felt right at home! Her beautiful house is spotless. It's a lovely location and plenty to see and do in the county and beyond. Secure garden for our collie who got to know the gorgeous horses that would come up and say hello at the fence! Thanks again Margaret!

200 year old Coastguard cottage.

DaraRating, 5 starstoday
Steen was a great host, fast to reply to questions and very helpful with regards to things to do in the area. The cottage is lovely, so cosy and really nicely decorated, comfy beds, nice linens and modern bathroom. The whole place was very clean and there were nice little touches for guests. It has absolutely everything you could want for a stay, we really couldn't fault anything. Whilst we didn't use it, the little annex out the back is charming, a great addition. The location is great, just across the road from the beach for lovely early morning walks or after dinner, we were lucky enough to have great weather so we were able to walk the dogs on the beach up until 10pm last night. There's a petrol station/shop about 5 minutes away that can provide basics if needed. The garden is worth a mention, planted with lovely bee friendly plants with 2 or 3 little areas to sit and have a glass of wine or dinner. Really secure for the dogs as well. We will definitely be back again.

Kathy was a wonderful host very attentive and thoughtful offering tips and things to do locally. Check in / out was seamless. The House is pristine and beautifully decorated perfectly adequate in size for 4 people sharing. The Sauna and outdoor bath / wet area is a lovely bonus feature. We hiked in the Mournes in terrible weather but had the luxury of warming up and getting a sweat on in the sauna before heading into Newcastle for the evening. Overall highly recommend 😇

Luxury Studio Cottage in Garden Setting

It was imply the best ABNB we have ever stayed. You can’t say enough about the design and comforts provided. The kitchen had everything you need, the living area was so inviting and wonderfully decorated. The bedroom was so nice and the bed amazingly comfortable. Bathroom was inviting for a hot shower and beautiful! We even had a nice tv in the living room area to watch some local channels. So wonderful. Louise even went out of her way to provide my wife some gluten free items to make her stay that more pleasant. Top notch host and location !
