My fiance and I both said this is the most beautiful place we've ever stayed! The backdrop of the fjord makes you feel like you're in heaven. We appreciated how quiet and peaceful it was here. We loved rotating between the sauna and taking dips in the fresh fjord water. We also took a canoe out, and if we had stayed longer we would have used the other equipment including a motor boat and stand up paddle boards. The views from the cabin are stunning, and inside it is so cozy with the log burning fireplace and lots of space to relax. All the facilities were modern and easy to use. Everything was spotlessly clean. Kathe Elin was a fantastic host and was very responsive to our questions. You can walk 10 minutes to the grocery shop and it's so easy to drive around this area, the roads aren't busy. The place is also very close to many fantastic hikes, nature and waterfalls. We would love to come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Susannes place in winter. We especially liked the well equipped kitchen (even were able to make waffels and cakes), the jacuzzi and the cozy fireplace with amazing view into the mountains. Susanne was easy reachable and was always really helpful. Would definitely recommend the place. Be aware that it might be difficult to reach the place with snow, but that is the price for nice nature. You can start hikes directly from the place. Also the city was very quite at that time (no problem for us).

I had a wonderful time in these apartments! Rating 11/10 👌. The neighborhood is very cozy and calm, yet conveniently close to many attractions. The house itself is clean and comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The host was incredibly friendly and positive, providing lots of useful information about local sights 🖤. It was a fantastic time, and I was very satisfied with my stay. I recommend it to everyone! 👌

This is the best Air B&B we have stayed in by a huge margin. Situated in a spectacular cove with an amazing view down the fjord, the boat house is impeccably clean, has all the latest modern kit, is stylishly designed and beautifully presented. Frode is an excellent host, showing us around on arrival and providing great communication before and after - as well as during - our stay. The hot tub was a huge bonus, and though we did not use the boat due to four young kids, it is an amazing option for those who fancy it! The surrounding area has so much to do - we hiked the surrounding mountains, visited Stavanger, and walked up waterfalls. A good selection of supermarkets and restaurants are within 15mins - we can recommend Meat and Eat in Jorpeland for a meal and Rema 1000 to buy food. Would highly recommend and can't wait to book again. Thank you Frode!

Beautiful location!! The view is simply gorgeous. Small, cozy, well-equipped apartment. Unfortunately, the clothes rack is defective and a small trash can in the bathroom would be great, but otherwise there is nothing to complain about. We had a wonderful week at Lysefjord.

We had a wonderful stay in Talgje! The house is perfect. It has a big kitchen, a cosy living room, comfortable beds and everything we needed. We loved the surrounding, there are so many beautiful paths on the island and a little beach nearby to have a picknick and go for a swim. We would definitely stay longer next time!

We spent 8 amazing days in this home. The views of the fjord are spectacular. The house has everything we need. The hot tub was ready upon arrival. All a luxury. Jim has been a great host and the excursion we hired on his boat was a breathtaking experience. The house is even better than the pictures. 😍😍

Beautiful apartment! Everything was spot clean and the views were amazing. Astri was also very responsive and helpful! Would highly recommend staying here and will probably come back again myself!

Really nice location for a trip to Pulpit Rock. The first day we warmed up with a trip on Taurafjellet. The route starts right at your doorstep. There was great communication and lightning-fast response from the host. Top recommendations from here.

Very nice apartment with an inviting terrace. The amenities are great, there's even a shoe dryer ;) Ideally located for hikes in the surrounding area. 100% recommendation.

We stayed at the house with our two sons for a week and it was immediately very cozy and you can tell that it is a real home. The kitchen and especially the garden are well maintained and there is a beautiful view of the fjord. The landlords are super friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the "wood-burning pool". All in all, we can highly recommend this and would book again.

Place was fantastic and big, for a group of 6 it was nice. Arvid ensured everything was in place and as mentioned, he also kept some sweets and local delicacy which was very nice of him. Overall recommend this to any one who wants to stay in Stavanger hiking or visiting city with family or friends. Fantastic place.

Really nice place with access to small beach, hot tub and cozy conservatory to enjoy the view from. Large window section in living room/kitchen overlooking the fjord and mountains. SO nice! Walking distance to ferry to Lysebotn, Flørli, etc. Very good and nice host who gave us great recommendations for great trips with small children and answered questions minutes after we wrote. We'll definitely be back someday 😍

The place is absolutely idyllic. If you want to feel like living in a botanical garden and fruit garden with own lake and boat, with unbelievable view, this is your place. Two more features that are very precious nowadays - silence and darkness. You can observe Milky Way and millions of stars from terrace. And all this in absolute silence, similar to what I experienced last time in my grandma’s timber cabin 40 years ago.

The house was amazing. 30 seconds to water and bay views from the house! Fishing, kayaking, hiking, fjords! Paradise. Safe, quiet. Close to grocery stores. Could not ask for more or imagine better.

When we were at Haakon's, there was a lot of construction in the Strandgata and the journey seemed a little weird. We found Haakon's house but well. There was no construction noise! It was totally quiet. The view over the fjord was very nice and we really enjoyed the view from the sofa. A lot is developing in Sandnes right now. This will also enhance the location of the house even more when it is ready. Our stay was very good! We highly recommend staying here.
