Stunning property in an excellent location, walking distance from everything we wanted to do in Clitheroe. Property was clean, stylishly decorated and very spacious. Hosts gave great recommendations, were very responsive and even left us a welcome parcel of local crisps, biscuits and coffee. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Beautiful cottage in a lovely picturesque village. The cottage and warm and cosy and had everything in it we needed. It’s perfectly positioned in the village. A stones throw from three nice pubs. Parking was easy and in front of the cottage. Sarah was a great host and always responded quickly. Thank you Sarah.

We loved the lodge and its surroundings. Very well appointed and the finishing of the woodwork for the lodge were beautiful. We really enjoyed a secluded two nights away in Clitheroe on the river. We walked into the town centre to find lovely bars and restaurants plus some great independent shops. An amazing wine shop with a huge selection if you like wine is well worth a visit - D Byrne & Co 10 mins walk. Thank you for having us, Elle & Ed

We had a fantastic stay here. The building and decor was outstanding, it was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped. The scenery and view was amazing and we were sad we were only staying one night! The visit from the peacocks was also nice! Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Lorraine's! The house has a great layout with convenient parking for one car, and additional parking available at the entrance of the cul-de-sac. It's located in the far corner, offering stunning, uninterrupted views of the rolling green fields from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom. The outdoor decking area overlooks the fields and is private, quiet, and peaceful—perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the open-plan living and dining area is spacious and comfortable. The central heating and hot water systems worked perfectly, and as new parents with a newborn, we felt right at home with everything we needed. The bathroom, newly installed, includes both a separate shower and bath. Comms with Lorraine was excellent, and she was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. A small convenience store 2-minute walk away, and Whalley is easily accessible with a 15-20 minute walk or via nearby bus routes with shops, cafes. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely 3x night stay. Barry met us at check in and ensured we got in ok and gave us a quick run down on how to use the hot tub and sauna. No problems at all with our stay, full equipped kitchen, big comfortable bed, lovely modern bathroom. Nice touch with the Prosecco, chocs, bathrobes and slippers. Thanks Barry

The lodge was perfect. We had a lovely over night stay here, we could have easily have stayed there for the week. We had everything we needed and more, Fiona really looks after her guests. Beautifully presented, clean and tidy, home from home experience. Fiona adds little luxuries and extra items to make your stay that little bit more special. The hot tub is a great touch. The views are stunning and it’s a lovely area, a good base also for the more adventurous people wanting to get out and about. We couldn’t fault a single thing and we can’t wait to return next year! Thank you so much.

This cottage is all it says it to be and more! The beds are comfy with lovely linens, the shower is fantastic and the living room extremely comfortable. It has a perfect location for not only the park and the castle, but also for the fabulous market and supermarkets. Clitheroe is a bustling market town and the cottage is right in the heart of this. We would definitely stay again and Annie was the perfect host.

The house is beautifully decorated throughout, with clean, high-quality furniture, linens, and tasteful décor. It offers stunning views over the Ribble Valley. The host, Angela, was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and attentive, ensuring our stay was perfect even with a newborn. Parking was convenient—we parked directly in front of the cottage, with additional parking available just up the road next to the hedges. Check-in was easy, and the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms were excellently equipped. The central heating worked perfectly. There’s a great office space in the dining area on the ground floor, also with lovely views. The beds were extremely large and comfortable. Spanning three floors, the house is cozy and well-thought-out, featuring an open-plan living and dining area, with an open fire if needed. It’s an easy 10-15 minute walk to Whalley, or you can take the bus from the main road, accessible via steps down the road to the left of the cottages.

Winkley Hall Farm is an absolutely delightful cottage. It has a very large kitchen, a cosy lounge, three good size bedrooms and three bathrooms. It is very well-equipped and several towels were provided. A highlight is the lovely warm hot-tub that overlooks the beautiful Lancashire countryside...we made good use of it! Another bonus for us is that it sits on the Tolkien Trail, so there are several safe walks from the front door. I would recommend the property without reservation.

We had an incredible stay at the hut in North Yorkshire! Nestled in peaceful countryside, it was the perfect escape. Had a fantastic few days staying at Clarion Cottage. It is a perfect location for exploring Pendle and the Ribble Valley. Lots of walks around the immediate area and beyond. Conveniently located between three great pubs too! The cottage is spotless, tastefully decorated and we loved the Halloween touches.

Katie is a great host and her home is amazing it most certainly has the wow factor and the views are wonderful. The best Autumn break ever we dodged the showers had a good deal of sunshine and didnt need to use the brollies Katie left us in the hall. Great local places to eat and we definitely recommend this airbnb and looking to book again next year and try a different season and use the buses to explore the area. Thank you Katie for being a great host.

This is a lovely quaint cottage in a lovely village. There was everything you could need and more. Every detail has been considered and we also got a lovely welcome pack. Plenty of toilet rolls and hand towels etc for a 3 night stay. Close to a few nice wine bars and a local coop for extra amenities plus a few coffee shops so the location is ideal. I will definitely go back and would book Trishas place if free

Beautiful house with everything on hand to make your stay perfect. The location is lovely and peaceful with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Several pubs near by had a lovely Sunday roast at the Ribchester arms. Completed some lovely walks on the Tolkien trail. Had our two dogs with us who settled in well into the accommodation it was home from home.

We stayed here over a weekend for a friend's wedding at a nearby venue. It was ideally located for the train, local shops and wedding venue. The property was well maintained with lots of artworks located throughout. The rear yard was nice for an evening glass of wine on the first night. The property is located on a bus route but there is not much road noise so we didn't need to use the ear plugs provided in the bedroom. Overall, a pleasant stay in a Clitheroe and I would recommend!

We had a great stay at the bungalow and had everything we needed and more. Great attention to detail, the kitchen is huge and has everything you could think of. The TV is huge, the sofa and chairs are recliners and have high backs which is ideal for me. There are lots of throws and towels galore, Nichola seems to have thought of everything. What surprised me was that even though you are in a large housing estate it's extremely quiet and has lovely views. We've had a lovely weekend, attended a wedding on the Saturday and did the Tolkien Trail on the Sunday on what was a beautiful day ending up with a pint at a lovely pub. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here with my two bridesmaids the night before my wedding at Mitton. Plenty of on street parking available outside the property. Everything was spotless and looked exactly like the photographs! Brilliant sized bedrooms, comfy beds, with soft linen. Brilliant amenities and just a great place to stay.
