The best few days, the views are breathtaking and the cabin is super clean and provides everything you need. The hosts were so helpful and responsive. Could not recommend this place more!

This is such a treasure lodge in a wood. It’s so peaceful and quiet. The beds are very comfortable and large. The lodge is extremely well equipped with everything you should need. We loved using the BBQ and the hot tub that Liz checked everyday. Love this place. Would go again and highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature and walking. The Major Oak was incredible as was the walks around it.

The place was absolutely stunning and the cabin we stayed in was lovely! Just what we needed, beautiful surroundings and very peacefull! Will definitely be booking again!

A girls night away in the cabins and we wanted to stay forever longer! When we arrived we were so shocked by how stunning it was, so quiet with only the sound of the river and the most stylish cabins and good sized hot tub. It had everything we could've needed and a very high tech air fryer. Anthony was very responsive and friendly and came out in the evening to fix a lightbulb for us. The hot tub was beautifully clean and a lovely temperature. I have sent links to all my friends and family because you must see this place! Thank you so much, and we will be back! Xx

A great stay! Perfect for a break away! Even kept a teenager and toddler happy! We had everything we needed and even got to see the cows! Which the little one loved!

This place was really easy to access. This was actually a very last-minute booking and Sam was really accommodating. The space was ready to go for us, despite yeah I’ll see booking it at about 6pm. While we didn’t realise that it was nestled within a camping park, we found the space really quiet, private and lovely; the fact that it’s within a caravan park definitely does not take away from how conveniently located this space is as well as how clean and nice it was. We would stay here again.

Ava, my wife and I were warmly welcomed by Rod within 15 minutes of our arrival. Rod made us feel so welcome from the outset even introducing us to his family. The place is beautiful however the small touches such as feeding the animals, helping Ava to get about on the quad, the freshly made bread, marmalade, butter & milk made it extra special. We will definitely be going back next time with friends for a BBQ! Next time, I hope to see a farm shop so we can buy some fresh eggs to take home - they looked incredible when Ava helped collect them with Rod’s children. Gary was quite obviously the star of the show, he loves a good scratch haha. Thank you to Rob and his family, we will no doubt see you soon!

Red Brook cabin was a wonderfull place to spend the night after a very wet 2nd day on the Pennine way. Luxurious and lovingly decorated with some nice personal touches to make you feel at home. Very quiet at night and an orchestra of birds in the morning. Would recommend!

Stayed here for a 21st birthday and it was perfect! It was right in the middle of everything with bars around but also markets and game places like arcades and darts. I would definitely recommend.

We spent three days at this incredibly well thought out place. It had everything you could expect from high end holiday accommodation. James and Chloe were friendly, helpful, and welcoming and we felt right at home. The cabin is absolutely lovely in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the hot tub a very welcome luxury at the end of a long day out! We will be returning and recommending to friends and family.

I loved my stay here. The location was perfect for my cycling and trips to Burton. Really peaceful surroundings just the odd clip clip of hooves, a very pleasant sound. I haven’t slept this well in ages, the bed was so comfortable. The accommodation had everything you could need. I will be making it my go to place to stay whenever I’m taking a trip to the midlands.

Our stay was great and comfortable. The location was perfect as we were in Nottingham for the cricket and it's a short walk. A quiet area and not too far from the river, where you can enjoy a walk or run. The tips left for local cafes were spot on. The extras they had left were also nice touches and very kind!

Me and my 2 friends had a great stay. The cabin was clean and tidy and was exactly how it was described. The site is a lovely location surrounded by lakes and a small stream where the children can play. The pub was very welcoming and the owner was a very nice gentleman. The food was good and reasonably priced, as were the drinks. It seems to be a fisherman’s haven, although we didn’t fish, and has a bait/tackle shop on site. A really good place for families to stay! The only issue we had was the CO2 alarm was faulty and made a noise every 60 seconds, however, I messaged the host and within 10 mins they were out trying to sort the issue. For that, I was grateful. A great weekend away with friends and would bring the family with me next time!

We absolutely loved this place from the moment we opened the door. Everything from the meticulously sourced textiles/crockery etc that matched the setting so well to the detail in finish of the cabin etc has been SO well thought out. It was the perfect place to recuperate and relax in nature. We saw so much wildlife- even just from the bedroom window! As soon as we walked in we saw deer just behind the cabin, rabbits, foxes, woodpeckers, red kites…the list goes on. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets a stride away. The icing on the cake was the wood fired tub which was unbelievable! On our last night we had the most peaceful, still and clear night, meaning that we could see the most incredible amount of stars! Cannot recommend this air BnB enough and Trish was the perfect host. A lovely welcome with personal touches, attentive and friendly host. Thanks so much for such a great stay!
