Family-friendly vacation rentals in Steyr

We enjoyed the beautiful terrace with the lake view. However, the wide view from above also means that the lake or place is not so easily accessible on foot. However, a taxi to the apartment is comparatively cheap.

We had a great weekend at Villa Traunseeblick. Herta, our host, graciously accepted our last minute booking. The apartment was very clean, well equipped with everything you needed and had an amazing outdoor space to relax and enjoy views of the lake. It was very comfortable and just what we needed. The house gave memories from childhood, as if I went to the village. Very warm feeling. The house is old and beautifully equipped, a huge area, there is everything you need, the beds are clean, the fireplace is beautiful, there is no one around, at night you can admire the stars by the fire! We had a wonderful weekend in this house!

Franz & Margaret's Airbnb has everything you could want for a family vacation, plus the communication with both is incredibly pleasant and we don't even need to talk about the fantastic location ;) It was a very nice and relaxing start to the new year for us, which has become so beautiful not least because of your wonderfully managed Airbnb and your great farm. An amazing, clean, and peaceful place to stay near the lake. We felt at home. There is a smaller but cozy garden with a patio and a grill - great for sitting in any period. Mr. Andreas, the host, responded in a while, gave us a tour of the house and prepared tips for us, maps of where to go in the area. He was very kind. I really have nothing to complain about and I want to thank you for a great vacation and recommend this host and their place to everyone! :)

Cozily furnished cabin in an absolutely secluded location in nature, with beautiful views over the hilly landscape to the mountains. The corner bench and table in the kitchen is huge and also the bathroom amazingly large, the shower cabin is very comfortable. But we would still recommend the cabin only for 2 people. The only bedroom is small and the extra bed is narrow and not so comfortable if you don't prefer a hard bed. Otherwise, we felt very comfortable here, we can recommend this place. It was also very clean.

We thought the apartment was great! Very cozy and spacious, we immediately felt at home. Particularly positive to note that there was also enough space at the dining table for five people, which is often not the case. A clear recommendation!

We stayed at the place for three nights over New Year's Eve. Herbert gave us a friendly welcome, ordering the beer barrels and the use of the dispensing system worked out great. The surroundings are suitable for walking/hiking, a small lake is very close. We had a great time in the little cottage and can definitely recommend if you have a bit of peace and quiet and party undisturbed.

We were here as a band for a weekend and had a lovely time. The place is clean, quietly located and well equipped – the indoor climate was great, we all slept great. The rippling of the small waterfall outside the door was particularly beautiful. It is good to know that ventilation can only be done via the entrance door. The hosts were very friendly and have a sweet dog named Bella. Communication via Airbnb was warm and pleasant. There was some confusion at check-in as it was unclear how we were supposed to get in, which seemed a bit spontaneous. Also at check-out, the request to leave earlier came at very short notice, which unfortunately was not possible. There is an ant problem on Airbnb that hosts are aware of. We are particularly grateful for the spontaneous help with a car problem (light left on) – without this help we would not have been able to leave! For groups who know each other well, it's a nice place to come down.

In all of my travels, this by far has been one of the very best experiences. The wonderful hosts, Martin & Karin are the most responsive, hospitable, accommodating and friendly hosts I’ve ever dealt with. The house is a traditional style home fully equipped with all amenities. It’s spotlessly clean and situated in a peaceful street with amazing views of the mountains. I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful place to stay. Thank you both so much, Martin and Karin.

Thomas was a great host and accommodation was beautiful. Modern apartment with gorgeous view. Great location, kids friendly.

We enjoyed the whole family staying in a beautiful place. Our 2 year old son who loved the animals on the farm the most. Thomas was very friendly and even allowed him to go to the bunnies, set things up for toasting, and was available when we needed anything. Perfect for families with kids. Possibility of swimming in the pool, toasting and available playground, toys, pool and trampoline at any time. Toys are also present in the apartment. The kitchen is 100% equipped. The location is perfect for various activities - swimming in the lakes, cycling, hiking. We'd love to come back again. The hosts even sent us a forgotten charge home. Thank you!

The apartment is quietly and easily accessible, lovingly and modernly furnished and leaves nothing to be desired. We felt at home with Ann from the first moment and enjoyed staying with her very much! Ann is a wonderful hostess, she always shared with us when we had questions, she even made an appointment for the vet at her doctor's office for us when our dog needed it. Thank you, we would love to come back!

We were in the Stegerhütte as a group and had a great time. Andreas welcomed us warmly and gave us great tips for hiking. The cabin itself is perfect with a lovely garden. We will definitely be back!
