It also has a train station with Intercity connection. Alkmaar and Central Amsterdam is 20 minutes away. Cafes and restaurants are widely available in beautiful Castricum. A large shopping mall and supermarkets are open 7 days.

But Amsterdam's bustling nightlife is also around the corner, with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

In Amsterdam Noord, in de circulaire wijk Buiksloterham, de nieuwe “place to be” van Amsterdam vind je de studio, een oase van rust voor de bezoekers van bruisend Amsterdam. De lichte studio heeft een eigen ingang en is gelegen aan een kleine “Japanse” binnentuin. Als je de schuifdeur openzet zit je in de tuin. In de sfeervolle rustige kamer staat een queensize bed. Ook de badkamer en suite is gelegen aan de binnentuin.

Cozy and peaceful, the garden suite is a perfect place to relax after a long day of walking and sightseeing.

This building was part of the Amsterdam water purification plants in the 1970s. In 2006, two of the original pumping stations were preserved. Not recommended for the elderly or people with limited mobility. Outdoor swimming within walking distance. 2 bicycles included.
