Those who love the outdoors are absolutely in the right place here! The chalet is cozy and has a large veranda with wood stove. Welcome to our family home "De Kraggehof", Nested in Belt-Schutsloot (close to Giethoorn), one of the less touristy places in the magical nature reserve 'the Weerribben-Wieden'. You feel immediately at ease upon arrival, due to the serenity of the environment and the inviting comfort of our farmhouse. We renovated the entire place this year to meet modern day standards of living, without loosing the historical touches of its rich history. We look forward to having you!

Oud Kraggenburg was an island in the former Zuiderzee with a light guard's house, a house with a lighthouse built on a terp. Oud Kraggenburg is now a national monument and has been high above the surrounding fields since the Prohibition of the Noordoostpolder. In this special location there is also a small holiday home tucked behind trees and shrubs with a beautiful view.. This cottage can be rented from mid-2024.
