We had an excellent stay at Scott’s place. The house had all amenities required and more! Therefore, we didn’t need to contact Scott, however he did check in with us to see if all was well. Would definitely stay here again

Lia's cottage was really lovely. It was clean, beautifully furnished, and with a great sized garden. The location was peaceful, in a nice little village. Lia was really helpful and communicated well. I'd happily recommend the stay.

Jack's Cottage, Curbar

TonyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We’ve just come back from a short stay at Jacks cottage, this was our first booking through Airb&b so we didn’t really know what to expect, we needn’t of worried as we thought Jacks cottage looked even better in the flesh than in the pictures so did it disappoint. The place was spotless when we arrived which is great as it put us all at ease, we felt at home straight away. Jacks cottage is situated in a small and very quiet village, honestly there is no noise. We live in a busy town with road noise so going to sleep at night with no sound but the birds singing was lovely. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a day out walking and again was spotless. The cottage is in a perfect location to explore the Peak District with some amazing walks right on the doorstep, we particularly enjoyed Bakewell, The Chatsworth estate and finding the very local Robin Hoods cave ( what 3 words assets.joined.offer if you struggle to find it). Thank you again Matt & Ginny for a lovely holiday

Luxury Peak District Cottage with Hot Tub

JulieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We have just returned from a stay at The Stables. We both loved the accommodation and the location. The hosts made us feel very welcome and there was some lovely touches inside for when we arrived. The location is very peaceful and tucked away but also within walking distance of several pubs all serving good quality food for reasonable prices. We would recommend and come back again without question.

Luxury Country Cottage with Hot Tub

KirstyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was our second stay at The Stable House. The cottage is beautiful, well presented, and spotless. We love the peaceful area, and the views are stunning. The hot tub is a brilliant place to relax on an evening. Sandra and Steve are excellent hosts. They sent detailed instructions on how to access the property, provided a beautiful welcome basket on arrival and gave a range of suggestions about the local area. We particularly enjoyed our meal at the Devonshire Arms on our final evening. The cottage is well situated to visit a range of different places in the area or to pop into Nottingham itself. Would definitely stay again.

Peaceful cottage in Parwich village with hot tub

SophieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Caroline's place was lovely, a peaceful break in the countryside! A reasonable distance from some of the attractions of the Peak District, including the Tissington Trail and Thor's Cave. The village was quaint and we had a lovely meal in the local pub, The Sycamore (recommended by Caroline). The only downside was the typical British summer weather raining down on us - wish us better luck next time!

Pet friendly - Enclosed Garden - Log Burner

SimonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We enjoyed a lovely stay at Parson’s Barn. The village is small but with shops/ pubs/ eating to supply your needs. There is great walking from Hartington itself, we found the river walk from behind the nearby farm shop particularly pretty. The house is a perfect base, well located, and fitted with anything you might require. Phil the host is available if needed but for us everything was spot on.. We would recommend The Royal Oak at Hurdlow, ten minutes away by car, for terrific pub food.

Cheedale Lodge

NathanRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I visited chee dale lodge with my partner and our young Labrador, and we had a lovely week long stay. The lodge is comfortable and well-equipped with an oven, stove, microwave, and fridge freezer. There were plenty of pots and pans, and salt and pepper to cook with, but no oil (I'd recommend bringing your own). For the dog, there was a good sized grass area, with a bin, a short distance from our doorstep. There is lots of nature to enjoy in the local area. In particular, we enjoyed visiting Luds church, three shires head, and the monsal trail. This was a great base, with most places we wanted to visit being 20 mins away or less. Highly recommend!

Hazel Barrow Cottage

CharlotteRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We arrived on a rather miserable evening, and Jane was there when we arrived. She was very friendly and helpful. Even before visiting, answered my questions promptly. As for the cottage, I thought it looked beautiful at nice. In the day though, when that sun came out it was stunning to have such beautiful surroundings. It was bigger than it looked in photos. The beds were very comfy which was needed after exploring some amazing hikes that weren’t far at all!

Rocking Stone Cottage - Idyllic Rural Retreat

EdwardRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Rocking Stone Cottage near Bakewell. The location was ideal and just a short drive to places like Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, and right on the doorstep of the Peak District countryside. The cottage itself was beautifully kept, warm and welcoming, with spacious rooms and generous en-suites. It felt like a real home away from home. Rachael and Gerry were fantastic hosts. Rachael sent through lots of helpful information ahead of our visit, and every one of her recommendations hit the mark. One of the best things about Rocking Stone Cottage was how quickly we could get out into nature. Within minutes of leaving the front door, we were walking through open fields with sheep and cows, and could stroll from one village to the next across the peaks. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both the cottage and the hosts - truly a special spot.

Cosy cottage in the heart of the Peak District

DavidRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had an amazing stay in this lovely property. Stunning views from propery and very peaceful location to come back to after a day exploring/hiking all the close by attractions such as Buxton, Mam Tor, NT Longshaw. Met up with friends at RHS Bridgewater a bit further afield but worth a visit. Kitchen well equipped and spacious and enjoyed cooking with the view towards Rushup Edge. This was particularly spectacular with the recent strawberry moon in full view.

Lakeside View Romantic break for Adults

DanishRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Nina and I chose Zeta's beautiful cottage for our first trip as a married couple (we got married the day before!) In short, it was the perfect first weekend together. We enjoyed the use of the spa and the serenity of White Chimnies. Zeta was also the best host and went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. Nothing was too much to ask and she came highly recommended from my sister and her husband who've stayed twice. 10/10 would recommend! We look forward to returning!

What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Gerald was a very friendly and responsive host and answered any queries we had. There are stunning walks you can do straight from the cottage and a micro brewery in the village which is definitely worth a visit. The cottage itself is so cosy and homely and the kitchen is very well equipped. Thank you Gerald for a lovely stay, we hope to be back and would definitely recommend Ashmount Cottage as a place to stay.

Character Cottage Nr Peak District & Alton Towers

RaviRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It was an absolute pleasure staying in the cottage. Helen and Mark were great hosts - they kept in contact days ahead of the stay with useful information and we're so helpful and responsive. The cottage itself was beautiful - and lovely kitchen space with a separate utility room and living area which had a warm cosy feel to it. We loved sitting out in the garden and waking up to the peaceful views and beautiful scenery. There was lots to do in the local area - Ramblers Retreat, Ashbourne, various pubs and farm shops / cafes. The cottage was amazing, as were the hosts. We will be visiting again!
