Stayed one night whilst attending a championship Dog show at Stafford Showground. Sarah was very accommodating and helpful from initial enquiries to the actual stay. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful location. Own parking area. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a god send after all the walks. Selection of cereal in room along with plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Claire and Robbie were great hosts. Gave us a run down of Castleton and where to go. Friendly banter and made us feel very welcome. They were very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as it is accessible to so many walks including Mam Tor and Castleton has numerous pubs and restaurants to choose in such a small area so there is always somewhere to have refreshment and nourish after a walking day. My second stay, very peaceful and relaxing location, everything provided and very comfortable. Lovely breakfast and very friendly hosts, made me feel right at home. Very sorry to leave but hope to return again!

Nice house in fantastic grounds which provided for wonderful runs and walks on private paths each day.

Nick & Dipika were great hosts and the accommodation was like a home from home. I loved all the Cottage decorations and the flowers on the table in the kitchen/dining room. In the midst of the current chaos of COVID the attention to cleanliness was greatly appreciated - the hand sanitiser in the lounge and kitchen/diner, masks in the lounge and disinfectant wipes and spray throughput. I felt very safe. I also appreciated the food available for breakfasts as well as fresh milk. A great experience and superb value for money. The next time I am in the area I will definitely return.

The place was spotless, beautifully styled, and had every little touch that made it feel like a home away from home — and even breakfast included, we felt truly welcomed. What a beautiful room, and bathroom, in such a stunning house, and wonderfully furnished. The breakfast was just right too. A very peaceful and comfortable place to stay, would love to return.

We loved our short break at Hassop Station. The room was lovely, just as pictured. Bed was comfortable and we slept really well. Breakfast was tasty, with good vegetarian options too. We enjoyed walking on the Monsall Trail (which we could join just outside the station) and doing a bit of shopping in nearby Bakewell. Hassop Station Rooms are great for a short break and we'd throughly recommend them.

Me and my granddaughter had the best week here. Polly was lovely and even cooked for us. The pool was amazing and they welcomed my dog. We will definitely be returning.

Our recent stay at Rupert and Jane's lovely room was excellent - spotlessly clean, and in a great location for us to access our nearby event in the follies. The room was exceptionally well equipped and felt like everything had been well considered. The continental breakfast provided was great, just what we needed before driving home. We loved having access to the Sky Q box, and found our stay really relaxing. Thank you.

The Old Vicarage is a lovely house in a nice village. There are many hikes you can do in the area. We enjoyed traveling the Peak District. The room was very clean and breakfast was great. Tricia was very friendly and welcomed us with a big smile. We recommend staying here strongly.

Linda is so welcoming, my friend and I had a very comfortable stay. The house felt very safe and we could have asked Linda for anything! We would love to visit again if in the area.

Great stay in the "pig sty". Spotlessly clean, bed was very comfy. It was quite hot when we stayed so was very grateful for the fan that was provided. Sweet treats and stuff to make breakfast was nice addition

Would certainly stay here again and recommend to others. Multiple pubs, bakery, and village shops right on the doorstep. Safe, cute, and comfortable place to stay for our Peak District mini break.

Enjoyed our stay even though it was only one night. Very conveniently located in town and is in a lovely peaceful setting. The room was very nice and very comfortable in a nice garden setting. The parking space was good. We had a good evening meal at the Rutland arms just up the road. The fully cooked breakfast was plentiful and tasty and worth the short walk down the road. We would definitely return again. Thank you.

The canal Inn is the perfect place to stay. We loved the accommodation and everyone who worked there was very friendly and accommodating. Great atmosphere and lovely locals too. Got to meet Lola a local dog would give her 5 paws too if we could. Would definitely recommend for all ages and types of stay. We stopped breifly on our way up to Scotland and would definitely come back again and spend longer.

Wendy has a beautiful home that she keeps in tip top shape. We had a great stay, especially with a dog. Wendy was very welcoming and left us to our own devices to explore the local area, with good driving distance to the Peaks.

This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Leanda and Nige were incredibly kind and helpful. A pleasure to chat with and really they ticked every box with little touches to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Nige is very funny and Leanda is an amazing cook - breakfast was a definite highlight each morning. They were so generous and welcoming and their dogs were so sweet - always loved occasionally getting to give them some ear scratches. There are some great hikes close by, the local pub is a three minute walk away, and the area overall is lovely and peaceful. We had a very restful stay at Manx Villa - we didn’t want to leave and would stay again in a heartbeat. A hearty recommendation from us!
