Spacious, beautiful and quiet apartment

Beautiful new quiet apartment in a single-family home district, on the outskirts of Arbon, very quiet. Parking spot outside the house. The lake can be reached on foot in 10 to 15 minutes. Bus stop in 5 minutes. That's how you get to St. Gallen with its beautiful old town. Arbon also has a beautiful old town, through which we are happy to guide you personally, with historical explanations on request. Or a boat trip on Lake Constance to the beautiful flower island of Mainau is recommended.

My accommodation is located in the old town of Arbon. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor of an old building without elevator. In the lower part of the house there is a shop. Lake Constance with its parks is about 100 meters away. St. Gallen with its beautiful old town is worth a visit. The nearby Appenzellerland invites you to hikes. The islands of Mainau, Konstanz, Lindau, Bregenz and Friederichshafen are easily accessible by boat or train.

The Loghomespace apartment is located on the lower floor of the log house. It is lovingly decorated and has everything you need for a stay in a vacation rental. The log cabin is located on the Haselbachhof, which is run by our family in the 3rd generation. The region is also called Mostindien, because of the many apple trees. There are 450 trees on the Haselbachhof, plus 40 dairy cows, 10 Angus suckler cows, 10 horses, a few sheep, cats and dogs.

I really enjoyed my stay with Johannes and his family. he and his wife are so kind. I was invited to eat with them, Johannes explored the city with me (and once with his children) and the family and I visited the community garden. He knows a lot about the city and will tell you so much, basically I got an exclusive city tour. it's not the typical sperated Airbnb where you barely see the host, you will have a room in a flat. I prefer that kind of traveling (specially with hosts like them). Communication is super easy, Johannes is very responsive.

A quiet, spacious room, I felt comfortable, could work well (WiFi, large table). In the kitchen, I could quietly prepare my things for a visit, everything you could ever need was there. Roger and his son, who received me, are likeable and Roger fully respected my need for peace. The bathroom is sparkling clean. As a swimming freak, I loved the swimming pool on the Rhine. Not for the first time, and hopefully not for the last time.

The house is super clean. The host allowed me to check in very early at 1000 and he deliberately wait for me before going to work. He even dropped me off to the train station when he went to work on the following day. I am very grateful for his hospality and would highly recommend to stay here if you plan to visit St. Gallen.

Barbara is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and even helped carry our bikes inside. The home is beautifully decorated and clean. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. This was the best accommodation on our entire trip around Lake Constance!
