Vacation rentals with a fireplace in St Helens

Beautifully laid out and perfect sized cabin for the 2 of us. Enjoyed relaxing by the fire place with a red wine. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have had the pleasure of sleeping on. The location was close enough and far enough from town. Only thing we found missing was good old scrabble, but watching the flickering of the flames in the fire place had us mesmerised in no time.

A quiet and comfortable house. Comfy bed, well heated, very well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge room. We enjoyed our stay here. The house had a very homely feeling with heaps of personal touches. The shower had plenty of hot water, although the shower cubicle was very small and a bit uncomfortable to use. Not a deal breaker for us but it would be more so for large people. The only other minor disappointment was the driveway. It is very steep and has a sharp turn to park outside the front door. We were driving a Ford Ranger with a double bike rack on the back and after a brief attempt to back down we aborted and parked on the street above the house. A normal car would probably be OK fitting down, or maybe we are just over cautious. These are only two minor things in a property that was otherwise excellent. The back deck is large, with a good covered outdoor setting, and the view down the back yard to the pond was delightful.

Homely, peaceful, everything you need for the best rest and relax. From the window nook for reading to lazing next to the outdoor fire pit with a wine, we had a lot of fun.

The church was a super cool place for our group to stay at! Jemma gave some recommendations for eats which made decisions easy :). It was nice & warm when we arrived & our doggo loved the backyard - thanks for having us!

This place is absolutely beautiful , the ocean view and the night sky were simply breathtaking. I saw more stars here than anywhere else I’ve been in Australia , and they were the brightest I’ve ever seen, even it was a cloudy day.The room had literally everything we needed, and the interior design was stunning, it must’ve been featured in a magazine. The host’s instructions were super clear and detailed. you can tell they’ve put so much thought and care into this place. love to come back again!

I would give six stars (if I could) for our stay at Jan's place. It is a nicely updated and well furnished house perched on a hill that affords a scenic view of Binalong bay. We found the unit to be very clean and well provisioned for a five day stay. From the house, a five minute walk will get you to Binalong Beach where one can swim in tranlucent turquois water and walk along long white sand beach. Ten minute drive from the house will get you to downtown St. Helenes where great coffeeshops and restaurants abounds. We ate at many of these eateries and all were good to excellent. A bit longer scenic drive , may be 20 min from the house, will get you to a beautiful and friendly winery where one can sample seven different types of high qauality wines at 15 AUD per person. If you feel like splurging, buy a bottle of 2016 Pinot Noir and drink this elegant wine on the deck while watching the waves landing on the beach. Book this place and collect wondeful memories.

A lovely little place to stay. Nice large rooms and a great space downstairs for the kids on a rainy day. It was nice and close to all of the family friendly walking tracks.

My husband and I just loved staying in St Helen’s at your cottage. It was like stepping back in time and was extremely cosy in the evenings with the old open fire place. Incredible location to explore the town and region beyond. We cannot wait to return. 🥰
