Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in St Austell

We loved Alison’s place… it was perfect for a few day’s getaway and in an utterly beautiful spot. Alison was very kind and left us a bottle of bubbly as it was a special birthday! Would recommend this place if you are after peace and tranquility. The walking in the area is superb… most require a little drive as it’s such a remote wooded valley but it’s totally worth exploring. And the bed is very comfy after a day’s walking!

Had an amazing weekend in st Ives thanks to Paul who sent instructions beforehand and upon arrival the place was immaculate. Beds were super comfy my 5 year old even slept in which is VERY unlike him🤣 Great location restaurants are 5⭐️ And the views from the apartment you could watch all day and the beaches are beautiful Would definitely recommend if your looking to book :)

We stayed in Lees other apartment across the landing previously. This place was almost identical in comfort and cleanliness, definitely stop in either of them again. The views must be some of the finest in Newquay. It overlooks Towan beach and is only a couple of minutes walk to town.

All communication was prompt and clear. The location of the flat, in terms of proximity to the station and shops, and as a base for day trips around west Cornwall, couldn't have been better. The flat itself was very clean on arrival, with good facilities. Everything was in good order and well organised. Some small points for consideration - which didn't detract from our overall view but would have made the flat itself even better - were that the duvet was a big too thick for summer sleeping, and would have preferred chairs rather than backless stools at the dining table. Great TV though and really appreciated having the apps available. The only negative is that the communal entrance hall of the house felt a bit scruffy and not up to the high standards of the flat, and if we had the bedroom window open we got the occasional whiff of smoke from the garden or flat below, So we kept the window shut! Overall, though, excellent value and we'd return without hesitation. Thank you.

The stay was fantastic for us. This was the neatest AirBnb that we’ve come across and couldn’t have asked for better. Although we had to drive a bit to the places we wanted to explore, the location of the house itself was very calm and peaceful. No additional noises at any point of day to disturb you and I will highly recommend this place. The Cornish biscuits and the apple juice given as complimentary were fantastic, thanks!

We used this as a base to visit our daughter in Falmouth and see some other parts of Cornwall which made its location and the proximity to Truro station perfect. Claire was very helpful and the basement flat had everything we needed, including milk and snacks 😊

What a fabulous place to stay. So well appointed and convenient. We made it our base for Cornwall and that worked a treat. Padstow is the pick of the coastal villages and you could do no better than a stay with Rob and Debbie.

To put it simply, great location, great hosts and very responsive, extremely clean and resourceful property. Would recommend and will definitely consider this or another property in their portfolio when I’m in Cornwall next.

A beautiful retreat in a stunning location. The cottage was beautifully presented, clean and welcoming. Not only that but the hosts also are very generous and add additional touches - lovely Bread, butter, fudge, milk,wine- which is lovely to arrive to. The location is fantastic, just by the beach. A stunning location. We had such a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone, we would definitely stay again.

A clean well equipped home to stay in , close to amenities including the train to St Ives. Joseph was pleasant and communicated well throughout the stay. Highly recommended .

Lovely stay at Ems place. Ideal location to get to different areas of Cornwall and a 5 min walk from the shops. Really lovely views, a real treat to be able to look at the sea and at Michael’s mount when having breakfast. Very clean and great amenities. Em herself was very responsive, very friendly and super helpful. Great for the dogs too. Thanks!

We had the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay at The Anchorage. The location was superb, and the views from the house were my personal favorite part. I spent every spare minute in the sunroom looking at the ocean. There was plenty of space for us to all be comfortable and my children especially enjoyed the kids room with bunk beds! The town is beautiful and there are so many different beach options around to choose from. It is definitely a little stressful driving in the village (coming from from an American haha) but that aside it was a perfect end to our vacation and I plan on booking again (this time with some friends or maybe extended family to fill up the many bedrooms!)

Martin & Jay’s place was everything was could have asked for on our trip in Cornwall, perfect location to see the amazing Cornish coast. The accommodation is beautifully decorated with everything you would need for a getaway, the scones were a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again and it was great to meet such attentive hosts with plenty of advice and recommendations to make the most of your stay!

The Old Sunday School is incredible. Property: 5* in every way, super clean, lush decor, smells like a spa! parking is right outside. the patio and view are stunning. bathrooms, shower all amazing. comfy bed, lots of storage space. Hosts: Jay and Lisa are lovely, they are next door but not imposing at all. super helpful and knowledgeable, we enjoyed chatting to them. Leonard is obviously the most important one and he is adorable! Area: the field below the patio was superb for our 2 black labradors, just a short walk away is a woodland walk, just magical in the early morning sunshine. short drive are some lovely country parks and places to eat. the super generous welcome gifts were very much enjoyed. we can't wait to book a return visit.

Mark was a wonderful host…even met us at the train station to help with luggage as we didn’t travel by car. The apartment met our needs perfectly. Its proximity to the rail station was very convenient for day trips we took to southern Cornwall and the Tamar Valley. Everything we needed in Lostwithiel was a short walk away…a very lovely place to visit and have as a home base for a week in Cornwall.

What an amazing home, amazing location, superb host- really quick to respond to my queries. Loved playing old LPs. Was a little nervous about sleeping in a day bed but was roomy and slept like a log. Bedding and pillows were fab, so comfy. I’m already looking at a booking this summer. Don’t waste time thinking about booking. Do it or it will be gone! Thanks Babs Neat & Andy Greaves

The location is perfect. Train and busstation are in walking distance. The apartment and views are absolutely beautiful, you definitely pay for this though, personally I found it quite a bit pricey but it was worth it.

We had a great stay. The pictures don’t really do it justice. Natalie was very responsive our how way. Lovely local touches with a welcome basket and small things like milk in the fridge took away the pressure of having to go straight out for supplies. Location wise it’s great. Truro offers plenty of independent places to eat and being walking distance to the train station meant our stay was opened up to go even further out with St Ives being our personal favourite.

My daughter and I stayed for a few days and the apartment was perfect. Great location, very close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Apartment was clean, tidy and looked exactly like the photos. View was beautiful! Has everything you would need. Paul was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. We had an amazing few days in St Ives and will definitely be staying at the apartment again in the future.

We had a great stay at The Hideaway. The location was perfect - turn left and you’re a ten minute walk from Gylly beach, turn right and walk to the end of the road and you’re on the high street! We didn’t need to use the car at all as everywhere was so walkable. Barbara was a great host. The listing is exactly as it is described and she responded really quickly to my messages. She’s also thought of everything we could need. There’s hand soap, tea / coffee, hair dryer etc but she’s also left ponchos for the rain, different weight duvets and some cold water in the fridge! The cottage itself has low ceilings but that was fine for us. It’s clean and tidy and there’s plenty of storage for your belongings and luggage. The only thing we had an issue with is the bed. Although it’s really comfy it squeaks every time you move even a little bit. Other than that the place was great and we would definitely book again in the future!

We had a lovely stay. We received a message prior to check in with clear instructions, making check in hassle free. The place looked exactly like the photos. Everything was clean, comfortable, and tidy. A couple of personal stand outs for me was having a bed that smelled freshly laundered, and having things like cooking foil in the kitchen. There were a few little goodies left for us too, which was a nice touch. Thank you for everything 😊

We were blown away by the location and views from our accommodation as well as the very well appointed apartment.Our host could not have been more helpful,with some excellent recommendations for where to eat and for ideas on what was available to do and see in the area,we will certainly book again should we return to Polperro
