The Bothy is a wonderful place for both r&r and as a base to explore the wilds of Scotland. It’s incredibly peaceful, cosy, and well located. There are plenty of walks that leave from the front door, as well as some beautiful longer walks a short car ride or cycle away. Susannah was a wonderful host and kept in touch which was much appreciated. Definitely stay here if you can!

Just back from a 3 night break at Cairnhill Lodge and already looking at dates for when we can return we loved it that much. Honestly if you’re thinking about booking this place - absolutely do it, you won’t find a better lodge. It’s a mixture of cosy, homely and peaceful. The lodge itself is has absolutely everything you could need, it’s spotless and the beds are so comfortable. Mornings and evenings by the wood burning stove just made it for us. It’s situated in a beautiful location with lots of picturesque walks nearby and some amazing wildlife to look at, right from the lodge itself. Elaine, Cameron and Jura 🐾 were the perfect hosts, so friendly and welcoming, and very knowledgeable of the surrounding area with great recommendations of things to do. Thanks for an amazing stay.

We spent the Christmas week at the Cottage, our hosts Gordon and Jeanette were very welcoming and had put out a Christmas tree for us. The cottage us just what we imagined it to be and loved the sound of the river flowing. We were recommended Kaoglen restaurant just 5 mins up the road and the food was amazing. Did drives to Pitlochry and Braemar. All in all would highly recommended the cottage. Really enjoyed the woodburner too for cosy nights in.

We had a really lovely stay! The space was really nicely laid out with everything you could need and more. Loved the special treats of popcorn and crisps for movie night. The bed was the comfiest we have ever stayed in and the shower was one of the best we have experienced. Really recommend staying here - especially for a wedding in the area or for exploring perthshire.
