Family-friendly vacation rentals in Specchia

It’s a very nice apartment block, there’s 6 units in total, the location suited our trip, we were greeted by a lovely lady called Lucia who showed us around and made us feel very welcome. Our apartment was beautiful and quiet, very well equipped. I would recommend getting a top floor apartment as the bottom apartment we stayed in was noisy from people walking or moving chairs upstairs. My only other recommendation is that the second bedroom be fitted with a blind as the light shines through, this didn’t worry us but might others. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will still recommend you staying.

Enzo welcomed us warmly, showed us everything and gave direct recommendations for the area ( restaurants and supermarkets). The place is nicely private and you can quickly reach the surrounding towns and beaches. Punta Prosciutto is really very nice and always worth a visit! In a small storm with a power outage, Enzo was always available and helped us. This allowed us to respond quickly and reactivate the power. The hot tub needed a bit until it was heated up, but after a long day of relaxation.

Absolutely stunning house! The interiors were beautiful and the pool and outdoor space was great for relaxing. So many bedrooms to fit our group of 18, with nearly every bedroom having its own ensuite! Would recommend. Thank you Maria!

Five stars is not high enough for this amazing apartment in a historic palace in the Centro Storico of Lecce. Location, location, location! While on a quiet and private street, this apartment is close to everything! Not only that, but the artwork within and around the apartment is fantastic, and we really connected emotionally to some of the pieces. If that wasn’t enough, Luigia could not have been more helpful. She stocked the kitchen and refrigerator with breakfast items and snacks, provided extremely clear directions on how to find her and waited for us on the street to greet us, gave us recommendations for restaurants and cafe’s that were terrific, and introduced us to her wonderful cats while showing us around the terrace. She is so warm and friendly that we feel like we’ve made a new friend. I don’t think we can come back to Lecce soon enough. Hope to see you again soon Luigia!

Such a beautiful location with a peaceful, perfect view of the sea. We sat in the “relax zone” (the veranda) from sun up until after sun down. BBQ, table & chairs, lounge furniture under cover on 1st level, or on open terrace below beside the jacuzzi. This is a total chill house - comfortable, clean bed, simple kitchen for easy meals, natural design which is so fitting to the environment. Highly recommended. Note that at the end of October, you need to be prepared to search for open restaurants close-by. Good restaurants can be found with small drive.

This place was magical. First off Giuseppe was awesome. He gave us a tour of the place to make sure in case we had any questions. He sent us info on what there was to do in the area & where to eat. He responded very fast if we had questions during our stay. The villa was stunning. Everyday we had the view of the Adriatic Sea. As far as your eye could see where the sea met the sky. We were very lucky to have beautiful wether during our week stay. It was very relaxing having the option of going 5 mins away to jump in the sea or relax on the rocks in the sun. His place was super well equipped with everything you could need.The local grocery store was around 12 mins away. As well, we used the place as a base. It allowed us to drive to Lecce, Gallipoli, and Leuca. All drive ranged in 20 mins to an hour.The villa was on top of a restaurant, & was never as issue. We frequented a great restaurant called Dédalos(awesome food & hospitality). Thank you Giuseppe, we look forward to coming back😊

The house is even more beautiful in real life, the terraces are great, the view is magnificent. I highly recommend this place for 4 people.

Our stay was excellent, the accommodation had all the details of a house, impeccably clean, spacious and in a very good area close to downtown and easy to park. To emphasize Fernanda's kindness, she welcomed us before the hour, we had the surprise of the typical dessert of Lecce, everything you need for breakfast, etc. and also had the detail to give us some poetry books of which she is the author. She was always attentive to us at all times, she is an adorable woman. We would definitely repeat, 100% recommended.

A lovely bright apartment with beautiful private terrace space in the heart of the historic center. I’ve stayed in a few places in Lecce and this was my favorite by far! Very clean and spacious. Mario and Marcella were responsive, kind, and very accommodating when we asked for extra towels or had any questions! A sweet sanctuary to call a temporary home! Grazie mille e speriamo di tornare presto!

This was a very special place to stay, beautifully designed from original stone huts. The alfresco kitchen was a joy to cook in even though we had rain on a couple of days. The fire pit was fantastic and all the lovely treats left for us made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend.

This Apartment in Palazzo-style is wonderful. There is a lot of space, beautiful rooms and you find everything you need. It is quiet and in the middle of the old city. I highly recommend it!

Occasionally on Airbnb you arrive somewhere and it’s like hitting the jackpot. Each and every space is beautiful, well appointed and through a design lens- stunning. Laid back luxury at its best. We are a (grown up) family of 9 and appreciated the numerous spaces to step back for moments of solitude - both inside and out. All the bedrooms are gorgeous- so no one left feeling like they’ve pulled the short straw, and the kitchen is perfect for creating big dinners. A cool (thanks to the air con) sitting room-perfect for reading, and bathrooms all well designed and good looking. The pool is beautiful- big enough to get a proper swim in which in my experience is rare, but the huge table under the canopied terrace off the kitchen was the place to be! The village bar is a 2 minute walk away and more restaurants a 15 minute walk. Can’t recommend enough, and can’t wait to return. Thank you Rocco and the wonderful house keepers for making our stay perfectly fabulous.

What a lovely time we had! Emanuele (son of Tomasso) and his family have set up an experience unlike any other. Firstly, the B&B has everything, the room is clean and there is a nice patio for lunch and dinner to make full use of the southern Italian weather. The shared outside area is very big, with a nice swimming pool and lounge area. It also offers a big outside kitchen, perfect for bigger groups. But it remains intimate for couples as well. The stay will remain with us forever because of the kindness of Emanuele and his family though. When you stay, nothing is to much and they create an amazing experience. The B&B has its own winery, bee hives and different fruit trees, so almost all breakfast is homemade and fresh. I could continue endlessly with praises, but i just want to thank the family for everything and recommend this place highly.

Stunning location. You feel as though the ocean is at the front door. The views from the front balcony are breathtaking and on a clear day you can see Albania across the water. The local restaurants and Lido's (especially Fico) are beautiful places to chill for the day. We did a boat trip to the caves, we took a trip to Ostuni and generally enjoyed some of the farm restaurants and local villages. Utopia Patisserie is a must for pastries and coffee. And the walk up to the Castle in Castro is well worth it for the stunning views and interesting museum. Also there is a private walkway down the rocks to a beautiful swimming place just close to the house. And be sure to look for the little paths that wind around the rocks to the bays and to the harbour in the town. It's a magical place, and there is no better place to enjoy this than Marco's gorgeous little home.

A cozy, small villa with a beautiful garden and a very clean pool. You can spend long evenings having dinner and a glass of red wine on the veranda. The house has everything you need. The location is very convenient, with beaches within walking distance. From here, you can explore the entire Salento coast and enjoy the beauty of local nature, local cuisine, and ofcourse local wines. Enea is attent a very professional host, he provided us with all the necessary instructions and was being very friendly during all our stay. Thank you Enea, we spend a great time at your place. I hope we we'll come back again.

Stunning, quiet place with beautiful views. you do need a car to get here, but once you are it's worth it. Pool great and the terrace perfect for the hot nights
