Spanish Wells vacation rentals

Absolute Paradise! Carole’s home was everything we hoped for. The location made it easy to feel like we could just relax, enjoy ourselves and never leave! The beach right outside was perfection! At low tide we could walk Forever in ankle-deep crystal Clear water! We spotted many big beautiful star fish and made our way to the swings for some pictures. The home was cozy and comfy, and had lots of unexpected extras most Airbnb’s don’t think about. Audrey, the caretaker, was extremely helpful and always available if we had questions. Carole helped in the planning stages answering questions and making local recommendations. She also checked in with us during our stay. You cannot go wrong with this place. It is absolutely gorgeous and so incredibly comfortable.

This was a great place to stay in Current. The location on the water is wonderful! The road in front of the house is a bit rough (very common off the main roads of Eleuthera), so you definitely want a small SUV. We cooked at the home quite a bit as there aren’t many restaurants very close, and the kitchen was well stocked. One thing to note, there is no dishwasher, so be prepared to do the dishes by hand. We didn’t find that to be too much of a hassle though. Sleeping with the AC off and the windows open at night was wonderful. There is another beach very close by that was great on days that the wind was making the water rough on our beach at the house. We do wish there were some beach chairs at the house, but there were plenty of towels. Pedro was amazing and came to our rescue one night when our rental car had a flat tire and we discovered that there was no spare. So grateful for that! All in all it was a wonderful stay and we would happily return.

Beautiful place. Astonished at the hospitality. We were running later than expected, Molly and her team made sure that checking in was a breeze. They made sure to stay in contact until the moment I walked through the door. Speaking of breeze, the VIEW from this home was completely breathtaking. We spent most of the time on the balcony watching two sea turtles frolicking. The house gave an even better vibe from the photos. Everything was clean, neat, and comfortable. Would LOVE to come back.

As frequent travelers my wife and I have the opportunity to stay all over. This is the first place that I actively want to return too. The place is a cute cottage overlooking a postcard. The water is perfect and clear and this makes the perfect home base for exploring. There is a car available along with the rental that I would highly encourage you to make use of. The thing that struck us most and had my wife's head down in a book the entire time are the guest books that come along with the rental. These tell a wonderful 25 year history of both the rental, Scott and the Island as well. To have had the chance to spend a few days in a house that has had such a profound impact on so many lives puts us in great company. Do yourself the favor of giving in to the house and the Island, you too will want to return.

I think broadly there are probably two ways to visit the Bahamas. The luxury hotels option, or a much simpler, more rustic, remote way, with many fewer frills but closer to nature. If, like us, your idea of heaven is the second one, the Treehouse is it. It’s a little secluded slice of paradise. We were concerned that, especially visiting in July, not having air conditioning would be intolerable, and perhaps inland it would be. But the treehouse is blessed with incredible siting, where it overlooks the sea, and benefits from a steady, warm breeze that felt permanently pleasant. Plus, of course, you can just walk into the sea anytime. We got lucky I think, in that July storms were brief and rare. We strongly recommend a boat trip with James while you’re there. Do rent a car (perhaps from lovely Agatha) - it’s super useful for going to the store, restaurants and the utterly perfect (and surprisingly empty) beaches of North Eleuthera. Oh, and bring cash, rather than rely on card.

We had a wonderful stay at 3 Birds! The location was fantastic and the home had everything we needed. We loved the outdoor kitchen and having access to things like beach chairs, coolers, games, etc! The home was well-furnished and well-stocked and the bed was very comfortable! Tim, Kendrick and Angela were so very accomodating and helpful (especially after some unexpected travel issues) and very responsive! We loved being close to the marina, beach, shops, etc. We will be back!

The Cobal Cottage is an absolute gem in Northern Eleuthera. We came with a group of 6, and we could not have had a better time. The property and Property Manager Adriane enabled a trip that could not be replicated anywhere else in the Bahamas. From the moment we touched down, a car that could seat 7 was waiting for us at the airport. The road is a little rough for the last 10 minutes of the drive to the property, but it's nothing you can't handle. We did a full day boat charter and got picked up right from the beach on the bay side, which was absolutely great. We were also able to call a private water taxi to take us back from Harbor Island to the beach on the bayside, which was then only a 10-minute walk back to the cottage. The snorkeling on the bayside of Whale Point was fantastic, with lots of turtles, snapper, grouper, conch, rays, and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the pink cottage! Access to the glass bottom kayak was the highlight of our vacation. We kayaked and saw so many sea turtles and sting rays as well as beautiful beaches. You can’t beat the view from the place! House also came with chairs, a backpack cooler, and snorkeling gear which was very convenient. 15 minute drive to local nature attractions and restaurants, short drive to the ferry’s which take you to harbour island or Spanish wells. Would definitely recommend!

The Four Old Goats Excursions group had a wonderful time at The Flats. Andrea was very helpful even before arrival. She suggested Lulu’s for a golf cart and it was waiting for us at the Government dock when we arrived. Blaire Percentie was very responsive regarding the golf cart; it provided many hours of touring for us and we enjoyed it immensely ! The Flats was a charming, roomy and exceptionally clean home with everything we needed. It was conveniently located, close to Dunmore Town. There was a community area with a baseball diamond, and a highlight was the practice for Junkanoo; we saw the drummers, the dancers and musicians just by walking through the path in back of the house. People were very friendly, everywhere we went. We were impressed by the cleanliness; Sophie checked on us through the week, changed sheets and provided light cleaning. The sunsets were gorgeous, the home was exactly like the pictures. We had a great stay. We highly recommend The Flats!!!

Had the best time at Ben's place! He and his family are wonderful people and was always willing to help!! Great back yard, The Atlantic Ocean!! I will most definitely visit AGAIN!! Thanks Ben!!

Amazing stay. If you’re looking for a down-to-earth but amenable stay in Eleuthera, this is the place! My wife and I had an incredible time. Jon was extremely thoughtful in crafting the experience. His island guide was invaluable to us as we planned our week. He communicated very quickly and was very helpful. Would 100% come back and 100% recommend to anyone. It was a great experience :)

Amazing stay at Leslie and Laurels place in Harbour Island! They have all the essentials in their unit with a beautiful pool, large room and full kitchen! We will be back soon!

The stay was very nice and comfortable. The location is convenient and near most things. The home was very inviting clean, modern and organized. I would definitely book with them again.

Very clean, spacious and there are items left in the room for your convenience, such as an electrical tea pot, microwave, items to make tea and coffee. The appliances were clean as well even though my stay was short and I didn’t get to use the items I appreciated having the option. It’s quiet and out of the way, super close to the beach and in walking distance to the beach and convenience store. Area is safe as well. The host was responsive via the app and also called my cell phone when I messaged her for clarity on the location. So if you’re looking to stay in Eleuthera and want to have a quiet place to rest, I highly recommend this space.

Gail and Austin were both fantastic hosts. Very responsive and accommodating. The rental was next to their personal home on Russell island. Awesome private water access at the end of their road. Austin showed us around their garden and cut fresh fruit for us to try. The cottage is exactly as shown in the photos. Ac in every bedroom is nice. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!
