Apartment vacation rentals in Southwold

Lovely place only minutes from the very picturesque Colchester city centre. Lovely castle museum and awesome castle park. Everything else was minutes away: supermarkets, parks, restaurants. It was a wonderful first stay.

Carly's place was great value for my stay. The main bonus was the location as it has free parking, as well as a nearby bus stop (less than a minute's walk away) that takes you straight into the city centre.

Harry’s place was amazing location, right in the town centre. After missing the secluded lane first time round we found it the next. It is a very tight lane but very private and unusually with its own private parking space which was great. The apartment was excellent with a great kitchen which has everything you need to prepare meals. We were so impressed with every room which was very well equipped, clean and tidy. We would definitely stay there again.

Entrance at the back so need to approach from the side rd, not Bells Rd. Parking spaces hard to find (on Sunday), and the roads are very narrow. Parking both sides then just enough room to get a car through, probably not a van or big 4x4. Excellent flat, very clean and spacious. Small bedroom is just that, small but adequate for a single. Other two bedrooms large and v. nice. Bathroom good, electric shower unit looked well used but worked perfectly. Lounge/kitchen diner area, very good. Overall, had an excellent time and would certainly book this flat again. Thanks Jason.

Really glad we chose to stay here as it was a beautiful property and well kept. Had all you need from toiletries to kitchenware and everything worked well. Surroundings were very peaceful, the balcony area was a lovely place to relax which has its own furniture and seating. Michelle was also very proactive before we arrived, good with communication and gave clear instructions ahead of time. Will definitely be coming back here when we visit the area again.

Excellent basement annex, had everything I needed for a weeks stay. clean & tiidy, comfortable sofa and bed. Close to town (walkable) for shops, pubs etc. Will stay again if I'm working in the area.

It was very comfortable, well stocked and matched the description perfectly. Karen and Ivor were friendly and responsive. Location is perfect to visit the coast and stone's throw away from the supermarket. Thank you for having us stay at your place.

Lovely central apartment, great living room and kitchen space. Both bedrooms were very comfy also loads of space too.

André was very responsive. He gave clear instructions for check in. The studio was clean, bathroom spotless. It had all the necessary amenities, including a small kitchen. The electricity meter ran out soon after we arrived, however André got it sorted immediately and we had a very pleasant stay. Thank you for being an amazing host. Will definitely recommend this place to others.

I’ve stayed at this flat a couple of times now, and it never disappoints! The place is beautifully kept, spotless, and truly feels like a home away from home. It has everything you need, from a huge TV and comfy sofa to beds that are cozy and a shower that's always hot. The location is also fantastic—close to the station and nearby shops, making it very convenient. What really stands out is the host. They’ve always been extremely helpful, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs, especially with check-in. I’m very satisfied with my stays here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free experience."

Penny's flat is ideally located in Southwold, very convenient for the beach and shops. Free parking is available nearby. It was very comfortable and is well furnished. Would happily stay again.

Booked this for my parent and their dog in Dec, perfect for us. Rooms bigger than they look in pictures. Amazing kitchen. We were able to leave car parked up until 3pm on check out day which was really helpful, enjoyed a short walk into Norwich city centre from the flat. Would definitely book again.

Perfect location for a weekend in Norwich, however it is very loud at night. We also had a few people sleeping in the entrance of the flat on the first night but they appeared to have left by the morning. The flat is so lovely inside, has everything you need and is very spacious. However there was a lot of dust on the stairs and the bannisters. The location is perfect for walking everywhere, also the parking is literally about 2 mins away! Overall we loved our weekend and will definitely be back soon!

This place is just lovely, I feel so comfortable and relaxed here. The decor is so well done, it feels so homey and welcoming. Everything is spotless and well-maintained, it's clear a lot of care goes into this property. I especially love the little touches, they really make a difference. Many thanks for arranging our overnight stay at short notice - it was perfect for our needs (stopping by Ipswich to sort out our rental flat) and so much nicer than staying in a hotel. Our dog absolutely loved the property and fell straight asleep when we arrived. He's never usually so relaxed in a strange place! The lodge is a beautiful conversion with gorgeous oak doors and rafters and lots of lovely pieces of furniture. The huge bed was the most comfortable we've slept it! Thanks again and thanks for the communications. Hope to stay again.

If you want a beautiful, peaceful and well equipped place to stay, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lime Tree Lodge. Suzanne was so helpful and had some great recommendations and the area is stunning. There were plenty of places to exercise our dog too. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant and we hope to visit again one day.

This stay was absolutely lovely. Beautiful surrounding scenery and very private. Was connected to another area by a locked door outside but we were not disturbed during our stay. A local town with shops was close by and easily accessible. Hot tub was great and easy to use. Quite a range of amenities for such a quaint place. However I must have read something wrong and believed there to be a dishwasher. There was a washing machine but no pods were in the welcome pack as suggested. Not a major issue for us as on a short stay. Had a surprise when the shower turned cold but didn’t check the boiler before so a personal fault, just make sure it’s on. Honestly cannot fault the stay at all, beautiful little place and a great rural location. Truly a gem. Will be returning if possible!

Claire’s place was just what we needed. The cozy and warm space was great for working in and then relaxing through the weekend. It has all the amenities and considerate additions that made our mini-break a perfect stay. All instructions were really clear and useful. Claire is a great host and her property is well worth booking.

A lovely family lives here, and the room is as advertised: very spacious, with a comfortable bed. The location is perfect, a 5 min. walk to town center, with all the shops and restaurants. The apartment is in a very quiet street, which was great at night. The host and her family are very responsive, friendly and make you feel at home easily. I had a very comfortable stay.

The Nest is a lovely peaceful and well-equipped retreat. Cosy, warm and surprisingly cool at night despite being an Earth-dwelling. No damp or condensation due to the unique construction and excellent ventilation. Has a very private little outdoor area to relax in the hot tub or by the fire pit. Although don’t expect a field view as nature has done its job with the hedgerow! Walks around Wildlands and beyond rejuvenate the soul! 100% recommend The Nest. And Claire really is a super-host!!
