Wonderful Christmas Stay in Säkylä We had a fantastic Christmas in this charming, old-style Finnish home. The house was warm, cozy, and spotless, providing the perfect setting for our family. The owner was incredibly supportive and helpful, especially in teaching us how to use the traditional sauna, as we’re new to Finnish Old Style House. His kindness and support made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking an authentic Finnish experience. Thank you for making our Christmas so special!

I rented this lake house for almost a week with my husband and a friend of ours and we wouldn't have wished for a more cozy stay. The house is even bigger than how it seems like on the photos, private and peaceful, it has all the necessary things, and we could enjoy the winter for a few more days more than what I could in my home country for example. The price is excellent and being able to walk on the frozen lake was priceless. :) Would highly recommend!

Perfect place for nature loving couples and families. The house and private area around were perfect. Ulla and Hannu are so kind perfect hosts. We definitely come back to join this unique place.

We had such a wonderful time at Markus’s place with our family celebrating Midsummer. Peaceful, surrounded by nature and relaxing atmosphere! Such a beautiful house with everything you might need, for cooking etc, two balconies, fireplace and sauna in the house. In addition there was different sports equipment and boardgames, which was very fun. Short walking distance to the lovely lake and outside sauna. He responded quickly, was very helpful and accommodating for us. We would definitely come back and recommend to everyone. Thank you so much!!

We enjoyed a long weekend in privacy with a beautiful cottage and the opening and sauna crowned the experience. Beautiful pristine nature around was also reassuring, and in the wintertime, there were no other cottages around, so we got the peace we needed at the cottage. Johanna was very friendly and proactive about our stay. We'd love to stay at the listing again.

Beautiful quiet retreat on a lush island. Everything you need to relax and enjoy your time is provided. There was even a midsummer traditional treat waiting for us. Satu is kind and responsive. She makes sure her guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. Highly recommend.

Lovely mini vacation stay in the middle of the rusk. It was just like the listing, well-maintained, and the smallest details thought out and functional. Plus a beautiful, simple decor. The cottage had everything you needed. It was lovely to sit in a warm lot under the starry sky. The sauna😁 was also delighted by cottage neighbors' dog mates & great mushroom forest ❤️

Asikkala's paradise was perfect for our friends' family's weekend away. The yard was beautiful and there was plenty to do for everyone. We saunas, our toddler swam in the tub, dip in the swim, went fishing, made pizza in the pizza oven, played croquet, and dined on the deck. We were a group of 6 couples, with 2 toddlers, 2 babies, and 1 dog. We had a great time, and there was plenty of room for everyone to hang out with.

We just spent a week at Julien’s cottage, surrounded by really beautiful garden and nature. It’s really peaceful there, no neighbors nearby. We were able to enjoy the silence & sounds of nature. Swimming in the lake and sauna were our daily pleasures. There were also sub board, kayak and rowing boat. Sub board got tested 😊. Kitchen is well equipped and we prepared great meals. Barbecue on the terrace was very nice evening activity. Some previous visitor criticized the cottage road, but no worries , we were able to drive there with our Mini Cooper without any troubles. We are very satisfied with our vacation week. Warm thanks Julien, we will definitely come back to your cottage again! We can truly recommend a holiday at Julien’s cottage 🌻.

Stopped here for a night on a motorbike trip. The cabin was cozy and clean. I would come again to spend time in nature and do fishing.

Kaisa's cabin near Juva is robust, well designed, and cheerful. It's also very close to the water. The lake is a dream to swim in, we were all alone in the water, and while there are some neighbors on both sides, they are sufficiently far away to feel that the space is private. It was easy to find the place, due to good instructions and clear signs on the roads. And Kaisa is an excellent communicator, spelling out very clearly what makes Finnish summer cabins special (no running water, for example), what to expect, and what to bring along. We enjoyed walking around Juva too. Highly recommended!

We spent 3 beautiful days at Jarkko's cottage. The house is fully furnished and in a gorgeous location, perfect to enjoy some peace and nature. Jarkko and Sini were kind and helpful hosts and they made sure that the check-in went smoothly and that our stay was flawless.

Second time we're staying and all good. We enjoyed a cozy and relaxing few days. Would recommend!

Perfect location for a quiet stay. Nice traditional wood heated sauna and jetty for swimming. Far away from city lights means a perfect night sky is visible on a clear night.

We had a wonderful family holiday at this beautifully cabin. It was a perfect set up for my young 3 children, they loved playing in the lake and on the little beach, and were kept occupied with all the toys. Whole we enjoyed relaxing evenings in the most incredible lakeside sauna. The cabin is so well equipped, it had everything we could have ever needed. We loved smoking our own fish for lunch. Thank you Reijo and Marja, we do hope tonreturn.

We needed a fall cottage a short distance from Helsinki and had a great time here. The cottage was cozy and cozy, and we were able to take a dip in the sea from the heat of the sauna. We found everything we needed in the cottage, the bed was comfortable, and the windows could be darkened with blinds to facilitate a long morning sleep. Ulriika was very friendly and we were able to flexibly stretch the visit from both ends.

Amazing place in the Archipelago, we felt very privileged to be there. Beautiful sauna with the possibility to dive in the sea afterwards, it felt extremely invigorating! We enjoyed the endless evenings outside on the beach chairs or inside on the couch looking directly at the sea. Great outside kitchen, we enjoyed barbecues and made pizzas too. There was a family of swans with 2 babies that we saw everyday, as well as flocks of geese flying by the house. Wild and beautiful surroundings; Helena and Timo were always there when we had a question or needed some assistance. Thank you again to both of them for those beautiful holidays!
