The Roulette is a 12-meter sailboat with capacity for 10 passengers and 2 crew. We depart from Puerto Colón (Costa Adeje), located in the center of the Zec zone (area for the special conservation of cetaceans). We will go out to the open sea, normally about three miles far away from the coast, and it is enough to watch a lot of sea life (up to 29 species of cetaceans, 4 types of sea turtles and 11 types of seabirds), all surrounded by an incredible landscape. At the backgroung El Teide, which is the third highest volcano of the world. El Teide from its base is around 3.718m height. Along the way we collaborate collecting waste to conserve the marine environment. The experience begins downtown Ponta do Sol, near the beach and supermarket where you can buy your last snacks and drinks for the journey. The first hour we will go upstream Ponta do Sol river, that will take us to a "levada" walk, where we will find a hidden waterfall. In the second hour we go up the mountain to do the sheperd's tour and be delighted with wonderful landscapes, wildlife and pure Nature. The third hour will be spent on preparing traditional food and drinks for a gastronomic experience, in a old sheperds shelter. The last 3 hours of the tour will be spent mostly in the Laurisilva endemic forest, in the north side of the island, which will take you to to the heart of the island and it's origins. Before our walk, we meet the donkeys and find out about their nature and special needs and features. You will learn how to approach, groom, feed, put on the halter and handle a donkey. To start our trip we choose the appropriate donkey for each hiker. The distance we shall cover is about 3-6 kilometers depending on your courage and includes a break for water and beverages. The path we take is full of old olive trees and vineyards. During our trekking you will learn how to read and understand the donkey's behavior and how to lead and negotiate with your donkey. Walking by the side of the most patient and calm animal is a unique experience that you will remember forever. When we arrive back to the stable, you can participate in feeding the donkeys, as well as the chickens and the ducks. As a reward for your effort we will enjoy a glass of Greek raki and traditional mezedes. Keep in mind that the start time of the experience is indicative and can be modified according to your wish. LEARN MOSAIC IN ATHENS A four (4) hours course in the center of Athens, right above the Ancient cemetery of Keramicos and very close to the Acropolis and the historical center of Athens, we teach people how to create their own mosaic based on Ancient Greek, Roman and modern designs. Come and join us on this astronomical adventure and stargazing experience to share the magical night sky of Tenerife island from Teide National Park. We will be about 2000 meters above sea level, which you may feel a bit. The activity will be held at the core of Teide National Park, exploring the area of Roques de García (no bus at night). We will start at night or by sunset depending on the time of the year, and so both the sky and the landscape change depending on the season, the moon phase and the astronomical ephemerides (meteor showers, comets or planetary conjunctions). The activity includes an interpretation of the sky, mixing astronomy and history as well as gazing by eye stars, planets and constellations. Tuesdays and Fridays: Regular Group Activities in English, gathering on average 10 to 20 people. Easy night walk of 3km. The tour starts at the Roman Agora in front of the Gate of Athena Archegetis. After a brief historical introduction, we start walking uphill until reaching “Vrahakia”, a hidden viewpoint of Athens with stunning panoramic views at the Acropolis. I will give you some time to take all the pictures you want. After that, we’ll walk through the Plaka neighborhood and its famous “stairs-alleys”, full of bars and restaurants with live greek music. Next, we’ll have a short break at the “Tower of the Winds”, the world’s first weather station, built in the 2d century B.C. We will then exit Plaka and enter another neighborhood : Psirri. This is where locals go out. First we’ll pass the very photogenic “Little Kook” themed bar, then we’ll continue to Iroon Square, Psirri’s central square. That's where the tour will end, after I give you a few recommendations on the best restaurants, rooftop bars and live music places in town.
