Roll and enjoy an Italian mainstay with a multi-generational local family.

Cook with one of the best chefs ever: Our grandma, Nonna Nerina. She and her sisters will show you how to prepare the perfect pasta—no machines, just your hands, the freshest local ingredients, and love.

You’ll be part of our crazy family for a day and join us as we walk the tiny medieval streets to Grandma’s kitchen, located in the old winepress where my great-grandpa used to make wine that the community tapped straight from the barrel. It's a special place for my family and the entire village.
During the summertime we will take the class outdoor, in the beautiful Roman countryside.

Whenever I sat in my grandma's kitchen growing up, she’d make pasta while sharing memories of her own mom and grandma. I soon realized my generation was missing something important: The handmade pasta techniques and traditions passed down through the ages.

I asked if I could post photos online, to which she replied, “Do what you want, I don’t understand you at all.” Today, she knows what an impact she’s making because people from all over the world come to our home to cook with her, making her very happy.

This is such a cool thing to do if you're here. I'm from an Italian family in the US and have memories of my grandmother making all kinds of dishes but this was so cool. You don't just do it, you learn it. Highly recommend.

Great day learning pasta making from an expert. We were the last group before quarantine and felt so lucky. Made three types of pasta, had a huge meal eating it all, drank some wine and coffee and shared stories. Definitely a highlight of our quick trip to Rome and highly recommend!

I am a Chef from the USA and this is exactly what I wanted. I specialize in pasta and even I got to learn about how to make pasta by hand. This is definitely more geared towards people who have never made pasta from scratch but it's a fantastic experience none the less.

My group was hosted by cousin Betta and minna Angela. We were the last group before their temporary closure due to Corona Virus. We were lucky to meet in an alternative setting, the families summer location overlooking a beautiful hill. This is a totally hands on experience. We learned how to make fresh pastas and created three dishes with meat, cheese and vegetable fillings. Our festive meal was great.

A month on and I'm still raving to everyone I know about this course. A wonderful day escaping the hustle and bustle of Rome. Such a beautiful little town, wonderful hosts, and most importantly, delicious homemade food! Thank you again to our hosts. It was so lovely chatting about life over food and wine and to leave as friends. You're supporting a local Italian family when you book this course, all the more important if you're a tourist in Italy in the near future. Book it in, I guarantee you'll love it.

A wonderful experience! We had made pasta a few times at home before, but wanted some secrets from the pros. This was a great way to find that.
