Vacation rentals with a sauna in Southern Africa

I had a wonderful stay this past weekend! The place was exactly as described — very clean, private, and with an absolutely amazing view. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Everything was well-maintained, and the peaceful atmosphere made the experience even better. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable getaway. Would love to come back!

Location, location, location! :) The place is exactly what the pictures promise. The neighbourhood is safe; relatively not too busy; and has a variety of amenities (restaurants, spa, etc.). The beach is right in front of the building (beautiful views from the private balcony and bedroom, fresh air and ease of access). The host and her staff are very hospitable and responsive.

Michelle’s place was great , she’s a great host and knows how to communicate very well . Place was clean and really loved the welcome snacks . I would definitely love to come back

We had an incredible stay at Miriam’s house, from the moment we arrived. We were impressed by the attention to detail and warm welcome The location was perfect, offering both peace and quiet. Also sea view 👌 Our host was responsive, friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed.

We loved our stay - the position is ideal for morning swims and coffee, walks and lots of great restaurants. We enjoyed having a view of the harbour and the sunshine in the afternoon from the veranda…. A lovely sunny place with all the conveniences of a pool, gym and spa. Daniel’s place is wonderful, and he couldn’t have been more efficient in answering all our queries. The house is absolutely stunning, and we loved our stay, Kalk Bay is fantastic and the house is perfectly situated, I can’t recommend it highly enough.

A beautifully curated haven that felt like stepping into a more fabulous parallel life! We stayed here for a business trip in Cape Town and honestly, it exceeded all expectations. The home is exquisitely styled with thoughtful touches throughout, making it feel both luxurious and inviting. Our host was incredible—responsive, communicative, and went out of their way to accommodate our arrival schedule. When we had a minor hiccup with the keys, they were immediately on hand to assist. It truly felt like having a personal concierge just a message away. Whether you're travelling for business or pleasure, I can’t recommend this listing highly enough. Stunning space, amazing host, and a 10/10 experience all round.

Brilliant newly renovated house in the Crags with fantastic views from the upstairs balconies. The patio is particularly great and the master bedroom upstairs is having a ton of light coming in from huge windows. Close to the shops in Plettenberg and close to Nature's Valley (should be high on your list when visiting this part of the Garden Route). We traveled with small children so we didn't go on the hikes on the property but I'm sure that they are lovely. The shared pool is basically just behind the house and is fenced next to a small playground (great place for kids). Carol that is onsite is a lovely person and very helpful.

Loved our girls trip weekend at David’s place. Super easy check in and clear instructions on how the house worked. Location was incredible, we walked for coffees and dinners and a short drive to surrounding wine farms and wine tram. So much to do in the area, we will be back!

We absolutely loved Mira’s house and garden. The sauna was also a great surprise which we really enjoyed. We will definitely be back!

Bert was an incredible host. Not only was the house everything promised and more, they were very helpful and accommodating for our esports team. When we ran into electricity issues they came to our assistance immediately and went above and beyond. I would recommend this stay to anyone and fully intend to return every time I have business in Johannesburg

We had the best time at Sweet Water! The grounds were stunning, our little house was well equipped with everything we needed and so much more. Katja and Uli went over and above for us and ensured that we could get the best out of our experience! This place is perfect if you’re looking to getaway from the city and just unwind.
