The Barn/Beudy bach

JonRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a lovely few days at the Barn, using is as a base to explore the valleys, and sights in Carmarthenshire. The Barn is lovely and cosy - and actually feels bigger than it looks on the pictures. We loved the wood burning stove, with fuel provided and fire made the first night, which was a real treat to use - and if you are visiting at the right time of year, be sure to look outside at the stars in the dead of night, because we were able to see so much. The place would be easy to miss if you didn’t know where you were going, but we had very clear instructions beforehand and found it no trouble. To anyone wondering about the internet - some reviews here mention WiFi, but as advertised, there is no WiFi - which we actually enjoyed. If you need internet, mobile data doesn’t really work inside the barn, but was available as soon as one stepped outside, which was fine for our satnav purposes. Ann also offered to help us access the internet if there was an issue, but this wasn’t needed.

Our stay at the barn was wonderful. The home is spotless and has everything we needed. Beautiful views from the garden and lovely neighbours with an equally lovely dog! Sally is a fab host who came and introduced herself and provided lots of info on the area and local recommendations. Would recommend to anyone seeking a rural getaway in a beautiful location. Thank you Sally. X

Somerset Threshing Barn w/ Pool, Hot Tub & Sauna

AnnaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had the most amazing week at Threshing barn, our group of friends had 7 adults and 9 children aged 6-12 and the property met everyone’s needs. The pool is amazing and a great temperature, the hot tub and games area kept everyone happy. It was a truly relaxing break and the surrounding area is beautiful.

5* 4 Bedroom converted barn conversion

SamanthaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Picton Barn. The area is peaceful, quiet and centrally located to access all areas of West Wales (we visited St David’s, Tenby and Folly Farm, all a short drive away). The barn itself is immaculately clean, well decorated and has every amenity we could possibly have needed during our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable and our hosts were so helpful and responsive to any questions or queries we had. I would absolutely recommend this property and hope to visit again soon!

Beautifully renovated rural barn conversion.

RebeccaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Hannah's, in a beautiful peaceful location. Hannah was lovely and sent us a detailed message on how to get to the house and on arrival had left a few treats for us. The house is really well equipped with plenty of things for cooking, dishwasher and washing machine. There was plenty of tea, coffee, sugar and even some milk in the fridge.  There were toys, games, cplouring and even bath toys. My daughter enjoyed wack a stick (swing ball) as she called.  It is spacious and clean. We would love to come back in the future and explore more of the beautiful countryside and towns.

We had a lovely stay at Claire’s place. The place is lovely and was immaculate. Just a short drive to Weston-Super-Mare, with lots to do. We had 2 little ones with us - Claire ensured we had a stair gate fitted and high chair available. She even left us a loaf of bread and some other snacks. Would definitely stay again! Thank you

The Old Stables

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a great place! Very cosy and beautiful. Trish is such a wonderful person as well- she couldn’t do enough for us. The area is very picturesque and having alpacas and goats to wake up to is just out of this world experience! The accommodation is very pristine, gorgeous, smells very fresh and is just all together wonderful. Trish has paid attention to the smallest of details and it shows! We loved our stay there and already thinking of booking another one!

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The location was ideal for walking the Shropshire Way from Stipperstones to Brown Clees Hill using 2 cars. The Stables was lovely, clean and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed the tranquility and the hot tub was ideally situated, very private and overlooking stunning scenery. Highly recommended.

The Barn

JasmineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had such a lovely stay at the barn. The photos really don't do it justice, and I felt like we found a real steal. It was a great base for exploring Glastonbury and ham wall. The beds were comfortable and the house well equipped. We had a small issue with the WiFi and Michelle immediately responded to messages about it and sent someone over to look at it. We asked if we could check out half an hour later and Michelle kindly obliged. I really appreciated her flexibility and how seriously she takes hosting. We hope to stay again

Luxury Exmoor Barn with Sauna

LouiseRating, 5 stars3 months ago
A beautiful place to stay. Stunning beams in the bedroom, very well restored, spotless modern bathroom with infa red sauna and electric shower. Lots of wildlife can be heard at night. Fantastic wood burner with under floor heating downstairs. Easy walk to Exford. Great village shop with all you need and 2 pubs. We drove to Withypool and walked to Tarr Steps which was an 8 mile round trip but a great excursion in glorious late February sunshine. Lovely view from the garden at the pub at Tarr Steps and the food was good too. We love Exmoor as it is an unspoilt gem with so much peace and nature to surround yourself in. Everyone you meet is friendly which also helps. Photos of this place do not do it justice!

Cow Shed luxury countryside barn conversion

We had a fantastic stay at Dawn’s place. Extremely clean and well equipped. Dawn was hugely helpful and very responsive to all our questions and requests. It was a perfect place to stay, lovely and quiet, secluded and yet very close to the shops and the motorway. Seeing the horses and lambs each day was lovely, with the added bonus of a woodpecker too.

Beautiful location in rural West Wales. The online handbook was extensive and made planning our week super easy. The cottage has everything you need for a quiet retreat, with extras that gave it that luxury feeling. It made a great base for exploring the area, but is also a comfy escape if you just feel like staying in. Host was friendly and responsive to requests. Would love to stay again.

The Hayloft

ThomasRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a lovely stay for 9 days at this beautiful house. The property was extremely clean and comfortable. It’s a charming two-story home with two full bathrooms, two bedrooms, and a sofa bed. The house was cozy and well-equipped for our needs. The farm was a highlight for our kids, who loved feeding the cows and interacting with the animals. The owners, who live in the main house and run the family farm, were incredibly welcoming, especially toward our children. They made our experience even more special. The location is perfect for exploring Wales. There are many picturesque towns and small cities nearby, and it’s an ideal base to discover the region’s stunning beaches and attractions. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend this lovely house.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage with stunning sea views and a lovely garden. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. It was the perfect base for our family (my wife, two children, and I) while attending a wedding at Craig Glas, just 8 minutes away. Highly recommended for a peaceful and scenic getaway!
