Chalet vacation rentals in South West England

Had a fabulous few days in Swift. Beth was really helpful from start to finish. I’ve been going there and to branscombe beach chalets generally for over 30 years and it was lovely to relive my childhood. It was so peaceful and everything was clean and tidy. The cabin has everything you need, fully equipped and comfortable bed. It was hard bringing my suitcase by myself across the field but I managed and it was worth it. I’d do it again and I will definitely be booking again. Such a peaceful, relaxing location and holiday. Thanks Beth!

Came for a weekend getaway with my 3 young daughters. The accommodation was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The small added touches, of milk, teabags, sugar, buckets and spades and some games to play at night, were much appreciated. Tracy left clear instructions of how to reach the property and to get inside. The countryside views were beautiful, and the beach just a few minutes walk away was perfect. The perfect mix of being out in the sticks, but only a 20 minute drive to some beautiful coastal towns. Will visit again with my partner. Thank you, Tracy, for a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay. Jo is such a lovely host, our 5 year old has a wonderful time feeding the chickens and playing with ruby the dog. When we left he said ‘I miss Jo’. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Fiona made us feel welcome the second we arrived. The chalet was spotless and perfect for our needs. Great view over the Solent and lovely sunsets Fiona made us some delicious cheese scones and left us with an array of lovely provisions Croissants, jam , bread tea etc. Would definitely stay again.

What a wonderful place to stay. The peace I sought was found, the relaxation that was so much needed was there and very much welcomed. Days spent walking in the New Forest were finished with a chilled glass of wine in the hot tub that was tended daily by a really lovely chap. The lodge was spacious, clean and comfortable with the basics of equipment there for your use, which is helpful. The whole experience is one I shall repeat and have already begun to tell others to check it out too

We LOVED our stay. The chalet is perfect and in a spectacular location. It was quite stormy and cold during our stay but the chalet was lovely and cosy. The local beach which is just five minutes down the coastal path is one of the best we’ve experienced in the uk. Ellie kindly allowed us to check in early which we appreciated greatly. We also loved how private and peaceful the location was and look forward to returning to one of our new favourites.

The view from the lodge was exceptional..... The lodge was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The heating was very good and was easy to operate and responsive. It benefits from a very large balcony with ample room for a 6 person table with chairs (supplied) and there was even a hot tub (although not working in March) The site was slightly awkward for those that are less able to walk up and down slopes as it is on a hill. Although it is beneficial not being able to park outside of the lodges, arriving and leaving with all of your belongings is slightly difficult. Luckily for us it was dry. There are trolleys that can be borrowed to do this but the width and steepness of the paths did make it difficult for the less mobile. I would definitely stay again.

A fabulous 12 night stay with our two doggos in a comfortable, well-loved property which had everything needed for a pleasant stay. Peaceful area, easy to find location and good surrounding areas for a daily dog walk. We had one small issue with the plumbing which was sorted very quickly and without hassle. Thanks again.

Great host, really good communicator and very responsive to any questions. Easy to follow instructions for check in and they had left a lovely gift for my daughter as it was her 3rd Birthday, which was a very kind and personal touch. We made use of the private chef and hot tub which were both excellent. The house was immaculate and great for kids too, with plenty of toys and a large enclosed garden. We would definitely stay here again.

This is my second times too visit, and I have really wonderful time with my friends!

We stayed at Olya’s beautiful Chalet for a hen party in February 2025. It was wonderful, we all had such a fabulous time and throughly enjoyed it at the chalet. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the whole premises. Olya is a fantastic host, very responsive and happy to help, also was very grateful with the flexibility with check in and out times.

We had a great stay here! Perfect for our family get together for 6 adults & 5 children! We were so lucky with the weather so the children loved the outside space and play room! & the short walk to the beach :) The whole accommodation was as described, lovely and clean, easy to check in & well equipped! Really lovely house and suitable for large group (8 adults). Nice big communal area and bedrooms clean and comfortable. House clean. Easy check in and check out instructions easy (just put the bins out). Only downside is that we had included the hot tub but the power supply to it had tripped so we could not use it as could not access the trip switch. Host responded promptly and sent someone to look at it right away but issue recurred, but that time hot tub would never have heated up in time for us to use it. So if you’re planning to use the hot tub, check it as soon as you arrive. The water was freezing and it and heats up a degree every hour or two bearing in mind it needs to get to 40 degrees. We used the private chef as well which was great - fantastic value and recommend. Overall lovely house in great location and would stay again.

As a large group of friends getting together, the lodge was ideal; with eight separate beds, plenty of space, multiple ensuite bathrooms and a separate additional bathroom, alongside the bonus of a sauna. The resort was easy to find, with generous parking outside (we had five cars and a car trailer between us!). The kitchen was well stocked and laid out (you might need to bring an additional tea towel as only one is supplied) dishwasher tabs, UHT milk all provided. The oven was immaculate, and perfect for cooking multiple meals for the eight of us. Smart TV, fast free easy access WiFi, a beautiful and quiet location, with plenty of walks and places of interest nearby. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Lovely quiet little space away from the noise of a city and cars. Tucked away and peaceful. Chalet was cosy and relaxing, host was very clear with instructions and quick response time. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay. The views were beautiful. There was no phone signal, but the internet was good. Only thing to be aware of is not all the rooms are accessible from the communal space, though this didn't bother our group.

Fantastic base whilst visiting family Great hosts and the caravan was perfect with all mod cons and some lovely touches such as Tea, Coffee, Milk and some biscuits. Lovely location and lots of amenities on site if required Thanks for hosting us and look forward to visiting again

Lovely and welcoming stay at the lodge. Myself and friends all joined with our children and was what we expected. We enjoyed using the kitchen / dining room for our New Year’s Eve / Day plans and was able to make full use of the kitchen as desired for our roast dinner. Beautiful scenery surrounding the lodge and especially a great view from the king size room looking out onto the lake. Only downfall was that there were a lot of hornets / flies inside the lodge during our stay Thank you for a lovely stay Gethin.

Lovely hosts, very quick responses and easy to communicate with :) Overall had an amazing experience especially with the onsite llamas Amazing experience would recommend Lovely scenery to wake up to and enjoy the peace with the birds chirping

Jamie and Sarah were lovely hosts. Everything was as expected. Barney my dog loved to sit outside on the bank and watch the world go by. Then take a walk over the hills to the beach. Very quiet and peaceful.

Casey’s caravan was like a home from home, super cosy and had everything you needed and more :) we had a lovely stay, not far from either the beach or rockley park base where there are restaurants, amusements, swimming pool and lots of activities to occupy the kids. The caravan was the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in, has a lovely view and is on a very quiet and peaceful part of the park. The little extras such as squash in fridge, cleaning solutions, hand soap was a fabulous touch as they are always the things I forget!! Thanks Casey - we’ll be back :) The only think I will say is that if you are going to rockley park for the activities such as swimming pool, sports etc then try to go on the same set days that other people at rockley park arrive as the swimming pool was unfortunately full so couldn’t take our kiddies, also the activities are more difficult to book as you are unable to use the booking system online which I have found real useful in the past when booking through the park
