Vacation rentals with a patio in South Shields

This was a lovely stay, it was perfect size for 1-2 people on a long term stay, walking distance of Roker Park and the beachfront. It was also convenient walking to Stadium of Light. Easy access to convenient stores, large Tesco and bus stop at the end of street for those not wanting to walk.

We have been staying at Ella's place for months now, always responsive and helpful.

Fabulous apartment in a fabulous location. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Lovely little garden with beautiful roses, overlooking the river. Lots of parking. Pub overlooking a marina only 5 mins walk away. Great pubs, bakeries and restaurants 5 mins drive away in the quirky and atmospheric Ouseburn area. the quayside a short walk. Jordan was very responsive. It was our son’s wedding and he kindly left a bottle of fizz. Highly recommend - 5 star all round. Would definitely stay here again.

The perfect place! We are often so disappointed with the lack of effort put into places we've stayed, and it was such a dream to find Sara's place totally exceeded expectations! It was cosy, clean, had lovely decoration, even homemade cookies on arrival. It had everything we needed and the patio area in the garden was gorgeous. For once it actually felt worth the money, we could have stayed a week! It felt like sara really cared about putting a personal touch into the room. Thankyou 🥰

Anjumunara’s place is very well located to quick and easy access to Newcastle City Centre both by car and Metro, and also the A1 and A69 for access to the wider Northumberland area. On arrival check in was easy, and having off street parking right outside the annex was excellent. We experienced no noise at all during our stay and the area is very quiet. Everything inside was as described and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has everything you need and we found the bed very comfy. We enjoyed a lovely stay in Newcastle thanks to Anjumunara’s place.

This was a lovely stay! The house was cozy and very clean, easy to find, clear instructions for everything, & had everything that we could have needed during our stay! The hosts were very responsive as well. We had a problem with the heater but they came and helped us out the next day directly! Thank you so much, we had an amazing stay :)

Brilliant self-contained unit. Absolutely spotless inside. Lots of nice touches - fresh bread, milk, water, coffee, tea etc. Peaceful overnight sleep. Could easily stay a week here with all the facilities. Easy check-in and about a 20 minute drive back into Newcastle. Thoroughly recommended and would definitely use again. Thanks Linda!

Claire & Guy’s cottage is absolutely beautiful. Claire was amazing at responding to my messages really quickly and even allowed us flexible check in and check out times, which was a god send with our two children. The cottage is up a little track surrounded by beautiful countryside and feels so peaceful but is still close to lots of things. The cottage is decorated beautifully and has everything you need. We were given plenty of instructions prior to arriving and we had everything we need throughout the stay. Can’t wait to come back one day! For anyone attending a wedding at Middleton Lodge, it’s about 10-15mins away so perfect location!

We booked Sarah’s place for a coworker to stay near to our place of work on Preston Farm Industrial Estate. We found Sarah’s house perfect for what we needed, comfortable, clean and near to the places we needed. Would recommend Sarah’s place to anyone staying in the Stockton area.

We stayed four nights in Mary's beautiful two bedroom house as part of a family visit to Stockton. The house was so wonderful, comfortable and well equipped, with high quality everything, in a quiet residential area. House has a private parking space and a great little garden that has a pergola with rain and sun protection to make it possible to sit out any time. Smart TVs for downtime, very comfortable beds and a very well designed bathroom and shower room. When I am back in Stockton to visit family again I will make a point of checking availability of Mary's house first before even looking at anything else. Plus Mary is a superb host to communicate with - thank you Mary!

Melanie's place was amazing - we were blown away when we walked in. The bedrooms are a good size, and the living room had amazing views of the sea - shame the sun only behaved on our last day!! This apt is right in the centre of everything, but equally, you don't really hear any noise from the outside once you're in and have closed the doors, it's a great bit of escapism. Melanie was really responsive to any questions we had. Also - make sure you visit the Lamp Room for breakfast and take advantage of the 50% off - breakfast was amazing, everyone enjoyed what they had, and the staff were lovely. We will be back xx

What lovely hosts Rod and Laura are!! The place was lovely and clean - very cosy. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable. Knowing it was my wedding, they even left a sweet note on the white board and balloons. 100% would stay again!

Wonderful hosts and a beautiful place to stay. We had one query and Gavin was round in 5 minutes to sort it out - we could not have asked for more. I cannot recommend this place more and perfect for a mini break with a one year old toddler. Thank you Gavin and Lisa

Stephen proved to be a very personable and responsive communicator, responding to our dietary needs. The annex felt very private as was the sitting out area in the garden. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed and bed linen very comfortable

Richard's place is 'home' away from home. It is very tidy and spacious, light streams through the big windows. It is near the rail station - just across the road - incredibly convenient. It is a quiet area despite being close to amenities. Everything that we needed was there. With the high standard that Richard adopts, guests will definitely feel welcome and valued.

Great place to stay! Super close to the water and the downtown area. Really fun, kitschy apartment with tons of character, thoughtful touches, and amenities. Amazing value. Responsive and helpful hosts.

This is a really lovely flat, located directly in front of Cullercoats bay. The view out of the living room bay window in the morning is absolutely fabulous. The flat feels really spacious, with two double rooms and a single. One of the double rooms is located downstairs from the main part of the flat (so at lower ground floor level), and the other is at the rear and has the en-suite. All the rooms felt nice and big and the whole place was lovely and clean. The kitchen is well provisioned with everything we needed during our stay. It's very easy to find the place, with a lockbox containing the key. Parking is available right outside, with a parking permit provided with the house. There are loads of interesting places to explore in the local area, and the beaches at Cullercoats, Longsands and Whitley Bay are great to play on. We wouldn't hesitate to come and stay here again if it's available when we next visit Tynemouth.

We’ve been to the area a few times and from now on will always check if Katie’s place is available. So beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, cosy and in an outstanding location with free parking! Right by Cullercoats Bay, and near great places for breakfast, coffee, food later in the day or drinks later in the evening. We had the best time. Katie’s communication was very proactive. She gave us great recommendations, and made us feel very at home.
