Beachfront vacation rentals in South Eleuthera

we stayed in the sunset apartment. the windows face the forest. it was very comfortable. we describe it as beach rustic. Doon, Taja's mom, who runs the Airbnb, was very helpful and available for questions and recommendations.

Paradise! Everything you ever imagined. House was perfect and the beach was amazing. We hardly saw anyone. There are two restaurants 5 minutes away Local grocery store and shopping 15 minutes away in Governor’s Harbor. Definitely take advantage of some excursions to really appreciate everything the island offers. We can’t wait to plan our next visit👍

AMAZING! Best Vacation ever, the house was impeccably clean, and the host Gina, was very accommodating and helpful. Absolutely gorgeous location a few steps to the most beautiful beach and sunset views. Kitchen was fully stocked, and the laundry facilities were a lifesaver. We appreciated the fast Wi-Fi and comfortable beds. I would recommend 100%!!!!! We will be back

we absolutely LOVED this place and the peacefulness of eleuthera! our home felt safe and comfortable and nothing can beat the beautiful beach steps away in the backyard. the kitchen had everything we needed to make any meal we wanted which is essential for secluded island living. we will 100% be coming back here again and going through Eleuthera Vacation Rentals again!

This was our first trip to Eleuthera. We wanted to explore central and south Eleuthera with a house away from crowds. Exploring and connecting with the location we travel to is always a priority to us. The Round House was perfect. We only ate out twice, using the kitchen (except oven) to prepare our meals. In the evenings we relaxed inside with all the windows open listening to the Atlantic and always comfortable with the breeze. The beautiful landscape around the house makes it so easy to fall completely into the island experience. We had a fantastic 7 night vacay. Taja and Doon helped make that happen. We enjoyed visiting with locals on the island. The absolute nicest people!

Pebbles is in a beautiful location and has a great, almost private, beach! The place is simple but comfortable and clean. Eleuthera is a beautiful island and Pebbles is in a great location. We were off season so many restaurants and shops were closed. Just keep it in mind if you need to be out for dinner every night. We scored at the fish market so enjoyed our fresh fish every night. Centrally located on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. great snorkeling right out the door; fun body surfing; kayaks and a paddleboard available for use. Shade structure on the beach with lounge chairs. short walk to tippy‘s, and the Potlatch club and a slightly longer walk to Bouganvillia. nearest airport is governor’s harbor. The house has two comfortable bedrooms. The kitchen has good pots and pans/sharp knives but is not terrific for baking or fancy cooking. There is a small blender and a toaster as well as a nice gas grill. You will have to buy supplies that you need for cooking. Bring bug repellent as the no-seeums are fierce all over the island. We had a few minor issues during our stay and found the caretaker, rental agency and owner to be responsive and completely reasonable. Good scuba diving is an hours drive north or south Beat surfing 40 minutes north. Don’t recommend third BR as it is a bit mildewy and does not have Internet. Lovely overall

pictures don't do it justice. Sand was white and powdery, felt like flour. Beautiful beach. Nobody on it, ever. 4 miles of nothing which I loved. Snorkeling was average in the bay. House had snorkels and masks, paddle board and kayak, which we never took out. Locals will drop off whatever you need and do any tours you want. House is 1:45mins from the north where you have to ferry to an island to swim with the pigs, so we skipped that. I'm certain there is good snorkeling elsewhere on the island. We went south to Jacks Bay and got a tour of the Nicholas championship golf course and tiger woods course. Windemeyer was good, gated community. Food there is very average but the pickleball courts were great and everyone everywhere is so friendly. House had 5 bedrooms, 5 bath. The 5th bedroom was really small, fit 1 comfortably, but we didn't need it. A few restaurants are closed. Clothes washer didn't work (didn't spin the clothes). Overall, Awesome. Get fresh fish delivered

It's hard to describe Paradise, but if I had to picture what it would be like it would be Cayo Loco! The beach and the water were the prettiest I have ever seen (and I have lived in Hawaii). You can walk for miles and not see anyone. To me there is nothing better than sleeping with the windows open and having the sound of the ocean waves lull you to sleep. Plenty of great things to do and wonderful places to eat. Our host would give us updates everyday with suggestions which was so helpful! They went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. Other than the amazing beaches, the most memorable experiences we had were with the people of Eleuthera. The culture there is to be welcoming, kind and considerate to everyone. They truly love and respect their island and want you to feel at home there. We can't wait to return and hope to stay longer this time.

I could not have asked for a better place to stay in!! This was perfect for our little family with our 10 month old baby. The view was spectacular and it was so convenient walking down to the beach everyday with our girl! The kayaks supplied were so fun! My husband and I took turns while we watched the baby on the shore. Such a great location too! Felt super safe! Next to great restaurants (Tippy’s and La Bounganvillea). Hewitt the property manager on site was so sweet. And dealing with Pam was amazing. Her communication was impeccable and she was so patient with us and All our questions. The house itself was beautiful and so comfortable. Book it! You won’t find a better place or property management team!!!!

Home/compound were beautiful. House was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and the decor was clean was uncluttered. The island has little mosquitos which were quite bothersome. Need bug spray for sure! Eleuthera is like an untouched paradise. Barely any road signs or addresses which makes navigating the island an adventure but slightly frustrating if trying to go somewhere specific. This is an island for someone who enjoys going off the beaten path. Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

The interaction with the Eleuthera Vacation Team was seamless and easy. We were connected to the right people on the island to find the best adventures suited for our family. The house was clean and in order. There is a lot of deferred maintenance on Owl's Roost, but that did not inhibit us from having a great time and feeling comfortable in the home. The views are stunning and access to the beach is unbeatable.

Amazing trip. Perfect for our family of 6 plus two grandparents. Beach is amazing for families. Beach is essentially private and has areas for waves, a gentle pool area surrounded by rocks, and great snorkeling. The beach was so nice we hardly used the pool. Kitchen is very well stocked. Driving to town for food took about 15 minutes but worth the distance for the location. Would definitely go back if we get the chance.

This place is amazing! Very secluded and beautiful. The only things you can hear are the leaves and waves. House is great and has everything you need. The generator is a hugh plus! After coming to Eleuthera many times, we know the power goes out a lot. We had the beach to ourselves every day. The trek up from the beach can be a little taxing but we (older folks- in our seventies) did just fine. Tennille answered all concerns quickly. When we got there on Saturday one toilet would not go down. Early Sunday morning she had a crew out to dig up septic tank and had them pumped out. Impressive! Definitely plan on returning!!

I've been on the island many times the location of this house is actually amazing just 10 minutes from the central airport and 5 minutes to the best restaurants in town, the view of the water is just spectacular. Private Road real quiet and peaceful.

Absolutely stunning location……the home sits on acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and a clean seemingly private beach. We saw only a handful of friendly neighbors (residents) each day. It was windy so the surf was rough but we found times when it was calm enough to snorkel on the reefs right off the beach. We did bring wetsuits just in case and that helped but we also swam in bathing suits, especially the kids. If it was windy at our beach, we could take a 5 min drive to Ten Bay Beach (and other spots) on the opposite side of the island where it was protected from the winds and the water was clear and flat calm. The house was extremely clean; furniture felt new; kitchen well equipped. The BBQ was a bit rough and no gas so we didn’t use. The downstairs bedroom/bath were furnished beautifully and worked out well but it had a slight smell of paint; didn’t bother the kids. Double Bay and this beautiful home made for a dream vacation and we highly recommend Wish House!

We really enjoyed our stay at Baha Mara. It was everything we had hoped for and more. The house itself is spacious and light-filled, well appointed and equipped, with lovely art and nice touches throughout. Comfortable beds and living room space, great kitchen for cooking, large porch for sitting out. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the day beds at water's edge, as well as exploring the tide line and in the water on the SUPs and with snorkels. This was our first visit to Eleuthera, and we found Baha Mara to be perfectly located to venture out to various villages, beaches, restaurants and grocery options not too far from the house. We discovered on our first day that the closest eastside beach, Islandia, is closed to the public pending a sale of the surrounding 466+ acres (!), so we explored a handful of the myriad sandy stretches up and down the coast. We only wished that we had more days to spend and that we had booked a day out on the boat with John/Big Mac Fishing. Next time!

Amazing stay, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Alexander is a fantastic host always willing to help and make the stay even better.

From front-porch sitting and strolling around the village of Tarpum Bay for the 90-year-old grandparents to exploring and scuba diving for the parents and grandchildren, this place was perfect.The location, right on the shore but in a shaded place, was idyllic. You can swim right off the shore if you wear reef shoes to get over the coral. For the maintenance issues, Samuel Dorcent, the caretaker and go-to man, was very quick and responsive. On the morning our rental car would not start, he had his friend, the auto mechanic, there in ten minutes with a big battery charger to get us going. Samuel was also just an interesting person to get to know. He was always reachable on his cell phone. The only negative review we could find complained of bugs and the lack of air-conditioning. We found that the fans were more than adequate to keep us comfortable. Picardin and deet work fine against the bugs. This place is not the Disney Resort and that’s what we liked best. We’ll be back next year.

We had a perfect stay with a perfect view. We enjoyed snorkeling, a bonfire, sight seeing. Spencer provided transportation to and from the airport. Rosie and Spencer are perfect hosts and very attentive and helpful. We fell in love with them.

A HOME AWAY FROM HOME. The host Ms. Barbara is very helpful, communicative, and accommodating. The photos doesn’t give this cottage any justice! It’s super huge, clean, and well equipped with everything you may need during your stay. There is an amazing private beach steps away from the back porch. I would most definitely stay at this cottage if I was to visit southern Eleuthera again.

Donna was a great host. She is super friendly, professional and responsive. This property is great to experience living like a local. I will return soon
