Monthly Rentals in South Allington

Had a wonderful week in this peaceful location. The cottage is well equipped, quiet and as described. Kids were happy with the WiFi!! The beach at Hallsands is really quiet, even in the middle of summer, and great for swimming and paddleboarding. Would recommend the Cricket Inn at Beesands for a lovely seafood meal!

My stay at the secret spot was very enjoyable. It is an ideal place to base a good stay in the area for walking and visiting national trust houses and beaches. The local pubs like the Start Bay Inn offer excellent food and beers. Jaqueline is an excellent host and is always available to help with any questions. I will be back.

The home was warm and very clean with enough space for us 3 adults and 2 large dogs. We always take extra throws to protect the furniture and we did roll the rug up to stop it getting spoilt by big wet paws. We do dry the dogs, but personally I would rather not take the risk. This was our first ever Christmas away so for us leaving the kids / family was a big deal. So to find a calm and relaxing gem, Sarah’s place made us feel very lucky. We were away for 5 days. We went to 2 local beaches and walked up the estuary. We met a fisherman who gave us a mullet for dinner, that made Christmas Day a bit different scaling, gutting and filleting a fish with YouTube to guide us. There was a local farm shop selling really nice products and everything you would need and a cafe/bakery right next to the home. We had a really lovely time. Thank you

The Owner/ Management were brilliant from start to finish, from questions pre the few nights away, to a question when we arrived. Fantastic rugged and inspiring location on the Coast, and a very well equipped home. We hope to return.
