I don't know how to give any other hosts or listings 5 stars after staying at Chateau de La Fare with Janet and Philip. You are personally greeted, tended to, and sent-off by these most gracious hosts (while still having every privacy of course). The Chateau itself is beyond amazing. Every sense was delighted. From the feel of the luxurious, crisp, fresh ironed bed linens, to the beautiful birdsong you wake up to each morning, to the gentle wafts of lavender that the soft breeze carries from the sachets and potpourri bowls, to the chateau's beautiful salons and gardens, to the delicious snacks Janet had ready for us after a long day of traveling in (fresh baguette, french butter, green olives, fresh fruit, a bottle of wine, some juice and water - not to mention the breakfast provisions of cereal, milk, toast, jam, pain au chocolat). We still had a week of traveling to do in Italy after our stay. I wanted so badly to cancel the rest of the trip and just stay at the Chateau!

Great cottage, with hosts who are very concerned about our comfort. We chose the option with breakfast and dinner. Christine is not only a great cook but she has adapted to our requests (ingredients, schedules,...). I recommend it, and we'll be back with pleasure! Thank you again for hosting this haven!

the accommodation is great, new, clean and suitable. The hosts are superb, welcoming, warm and attentive. After some adventures before our arrival, they were very accommodating. Excellent

Very beautiful places! A beautiful place in nature, a beautiful inner courtyard, absolute tranquility!!! Very charming hosts, our family was very well received. Have a great time! A lovely terrace available for us. The 2 bedrooms are nice, the bedding is good, the kitchen has everything you need! A cute little stone living room with a fireplace. Thank you for your welcome! And thank you to Lion for his games with our kids!
