The cabin is located by a river and water. The canoe can be used freely if you want to paddle in the river. Kjerringnesvannet is salmon-bearing water and you can fish in the water if you buy a fishing license. The cabin is located in the forest with lots of great hiking areas near the cabin and around Vesterålen.

Our property has a very large outdoor area with fire pit, lavvo, barbecue, outdoor fireplace and small rowboat. The property has a spectacular view of the mountain Stortinden, and close to local bird and wildlife such as sea eagles, grouse, moose, deer, reefs, seals, otters, hares you can see when you stay here. We can offer you scenic surroundings only 15 minutes drive from Sortland and 10 minutes drive to the nearest grocery store. The house was restored and built in 2024.

Modern and fully equipped cabin with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Nicely located by the sea with a view of Gavelfjorden and Risøysundet. Enjoy a cup of coffee while Hurtigruten is passing by. It´s not unusual to spot eagles and mooses right outside the cabin. Andøya can offer great hikingspots, beaches, fishing water, hunting terrain and whale- and puffin safari and northern lights. Several easily accessible mountains for top hikes nearby. From Harstad/Narvik Airport you use 1.5h. Within 1h you are in Lofoten, or Andenes where they have whale watching. The entire property is available for you! Note: In the high season June - August, minimum rental for 6 people or price is equivalent.

Right by secluded beach facing spectacular mountains, perfect for hiking, fishing or just slow living under the midnight sun or northern lights. Wood-fired sauna (extra cost) and two small canoes (not in use autumn/winter) for guests. Several design classics from the 1960's and selected personal objects give the house a distinct look and atmosphere.

Nyrenovert og koselig hus fra 1850 så nært du kan bo havet! Huset er fult utstyrt ligger midt i steinlandsfjorden ved foten av langøyas høyeste fjell, snykolla. I fjorden utenfor huset er det muligheter for godt fiske fra molo. Huset ligger nært det populære turmålet dronningruta og fiskeværet Nyksund. Det er også en grei beliggenhet som base for å utforske både Lofoten, Bø, Hadsel og Andøya.
