Emmanuelle was very communicative before we arrived and during our stay. The yard and view of the river were very nice and the stroll to the bi-weekly market and restaurants were very easy. Overall, Le Bugue is a great jumping off point for the French countryside of the Perigord, but many storefronts of the village appeared vacant.

Fantastic location in the historic centre and wonderful little appt in an ancient, restored building. The kitchen is tiny and there was no washing machine or easy way to make coffee. Courtyard directly outside was lovely to sit in at night. Melissa is very responsive and there is private parking nearby. Saturday market in the town square was excellent.

Very nice apartment for a romantic weekend. The accommodation is cozy and carefully decorated. Everything was impeccable. Virginia is a great host. Very pleasant in every way. We would happily stay again! ☺️

Lovely stay in the heart of Sarlat. The apartment retained its historic features but was also modern and comfortable. Location was ideal with plenty of paid parking nearby. Great base to explore the small towns and prehistoric caves of the Dordogne. Our contact Lucie was very responsive and helpful and gave good recommendations. Will stay again next time we’re in the region.

Narmin is very inviting and warm. She is very attentive and attentive. The accommodation is tastefully furnished and it is very pleasant to stay there. The garden is like the space: a place for serenity! We also really enjoyed the sweet company of Nala and Troco, adorable dogs from Narmin and Laszlo with whom we enjoyed interacting. We will surely come back to enjoy this magical place that I highly recommend!

What the listing does not emphasise enough is the high quality of the way this 300 year old property has been renovated. Plus, the decor and fittings are high quality: it really is like living in a real home, not simply a place that has been kitted out on a budget just for AirBnB. And... always a good sign.... the kitchen knives are sharp, there is an apron for the cook, and spices and herbs are provided. For those of you from the UK, think of the best of 'Rural Retreats' (a very high quality set of holiday rental properties.) The property is in a tiny hamlet of 3 houses. It really is a quiet and beautiful setting. Virginia is generous with access to the garden (which is shared with her home). She is the perfect combination of being friendly but not intrusive.

We spent the Holy Week in Noémi's accommodation and it was fantastic, the house was spotless, everything clean and tidy, with everything you need of crockery and kitchenware, the comfortable beds, the spacious bathroom and the living room very nice, the outside is very large and very careful, with more than enough space for our b***h to have a great time, nearby is Le Bugue, a town with all the amenities and half an hour from many places of interest. The deal with Noémi was quick and any questions or issues can be resolved quickly. A highly recommended house.

The place is great and the hosts are lovely. We’d 100% stay again. It’s really well equipped and the hosts even took us to pick some mushrooms from the land, which we ate that night. Great place

We stayed five nights. Simon was super helpful with restaurant suggestions and site recommendations. The place was cozy and comfortable for the two of us. It is ideally located for visiting the castles, churches, caves, and beautiful villages of the Dordogne. We were very happy with our visit.

We had a lovely stay at David and Anna's.

The house is very well located close to the centre of Sarlat. The walk back is slightly uphill but we managed okay. The heated swimming pool area is very well maintained and was very clean and well equipped with loungers etc

Gite in a beautiful peaceful Saladin house. Very pleasant setting with rabbits to admire cool in the garden. The interior of the cottage is as described. The rooms are spacious and cool, which is nice in summer. Thank you very much Mark for your hospitality, your sightseeing tips and the bottle of rosé.

A little problem with the entrance (maybe my fault) but apart from that everything went very well, the apartment was pristine, there were towels and other great amenities. The location is also very close to the city center on foot. Thank you :)
