The entire experience was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Silvestre has a great way to explain steps and patience. Enjoyed every second of the cooking experience

My daughter and I had a fun afternoon with Silvestre, it was one of the highlights of our trip. Great conversation, loved learning new skills. Silvestre is a lovely person and was very accommodating to my daughter’s food allergies. Highly recommend!

After greeting us at the door we sat down for a little bit drinking some lovely cold tea and had chance to introduce ourselves. Shortly thereafter we started cooking.
He does a great job at helping/ guiding when needed, but not doing everything for you. We were amazed at how great the Salsas tasted with so little ingredients.
Making the Picaditas was fun and so simple. After making the Salsa and Picaditas, we assembled them all together and sat down for a wonderful lunch.
We were having such a great time talking and eating we didn’t realize that we had went 1.5 hours past the time it was supposed to end!!
Really fun experience and would definitely recommend.

We had a great time making and tasting the different dishes and getting to know the ingredients through their taste and the different ways they can be processed and combined to make distinct flavors. Silvestre is an excellent and knowledgeable instructor and made the cooking process very fun and easy to follow.

Aside from making and eating the delicious foods, Silvestre shared his recommendations for Merida, Yucatan, and other parts of Mexico which as newbies to here we greatly appreciated! He sent them all plus the recipes after the class.

We highly recommend this class and are excited to visit Merida again and try out another one of his courses!
