Double room with bathroom en suite for rent in a typical stone Mallocan house situated in Calviá 20 km from Palma city and 10km from the coast with it's many beaches, large and small, and all kinds of activities and entertainment,.as practice climbing. The house is charming, full of objects acquired on our many trips to the far East and therefore has an exotic look and atmosphere. It is situated in a 1000m2 garden full of native trees and plants with some unusual ones brought back from our travels. What with a small pool, a private deck with hamacs and sun beds our garden is like a restful oasis in the summer. You would be the only guests in the house therefore you would have our full attention and help for anything you might need. such as renting a car, what to visit, where to go to find the most unspoiled parts of this beautiful island, etc. Included in the rental is a breakfast of local produce. Should you be interested in typical Mallorcan food, barbecues or more exotic dishes from India, South East Asia or Morocco we would be happy to prepare them for you. If you have any questions at all about the above please do not hesitate to contact us.
“We were so glad that Eva started offering this experience in time for our first visit to Slovenia, because it was such a unique experience and was a great introduction to the country. While the experience was simple and straightforward, it was great to have a local guide to show us this beautiful hiking location and answer questions we had about Slovenia as first-time visitors. Moreover, the dogs were very friendly and playful and added a lot of charm to the hike. Be prepared for a very steep hike, but one that is well worth the effort. Even though I started to feel unwell not long after our hike up the mountain, Eva was very kind, patient, and encouraging the whole time, so we pushed on and made it up to the top, where we found that the view from above was magnificent and the food served at the cabin at the summit was delicious. We were able to hike up, relax for a while at the summit, and then hike back down well within the allotted time even with frequent rests, so take your time and get plenty of pictures along the way. A lot of this experience is what you make of it. We had a lot of questions for Eva about Slovenia and daily life, and she was very happy to answer questions and gave us a lot of great insight about a country that we hadn't really known anything about before we visited. We also talked a lot about our shared love of animals, so be sure to bring pictures of your own pets if you have any!”
Nice flat next to all you need, beaches, restaurants, ect... no cooking, but can use the kitchen for light use. (example, making coffee and sandwiches stuff like that)
“I stayed at Ian and Lisa’s to attend a friend’s wedding and thoroughly had a lovely stay- they are a very warm and hospitable family, and very easy to chat with. Lisa left me some tortilla in the evening, knowing that my flight was severely delayed. Ian’s place is about 30 min via public transport to city center and very easy to use as a base point during my 3 days in Mallorca. Bed is also super comfortable, even with jetlag coming from East Coast US, I slept 10 hrs one night.”
House closest to the beach with the best situation of the tramontana spectacular views of sea and mountains, down the stairs you can take a dip in the most crystalline Mediterranean sea you can find.
“This place has amazing views, and is located just in the middle of the pine trees. The photos are very accurate, it is a very lovely home with lots of space. As we were there in November, outside was very cold and extremely windy. BUT this place has a heating (which is not listed in Airbnb!). Richard was very welcoming, set the fireplace before our arrival. Check in, and check out was very uncomplicated. In the first night, heating for the upstairs did not functioned well, but he helped us just the next day. One important thing to mention is the road leading to the place: It is really challenging for causal drivers. There are three curves down to the hill, and the way is very narrow. So you should consider to take either a small automatic car, or be ready to use the reverse gear on a steep slope. But at the end, it was totally manageable and we really enjoyed our stay. We will recommend you to stay in this place, if you are a nature lover!”
