Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Somerset Regional

Norie was the most lovely host we had ever met in all of our air bnb stays. She was very kind and made our stay really special. Her place is so unique, cosy, comfortable, homely, peaceful with the most stunning views. We stayed for just one night during our epic 70km cycle on the BVRT. It was the best place to rest our tired legs. Our daughter had the best time feeding the farm animals and picking fruit. After a wonderful sleep in - enjoying the comfy beds and the cosy atmosphere of the cabin, there was fresh bread, farm eggs, cereals & jams for breakfast. Everything was considered for a wonderful stay. What was meant to be a quick overnight stop , turned out to be the most memorable part of the trip. Thank you for your amazing hospitality Norie, we will be back ☺️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. Leanne was there to greet us but respected our privacy and gave us support when needed. I’ve already recommended it to others and will probably return before too long.

This is a stunning property with absolutely beautiful views! It is clean and very well appointed and has many places to relax and take it all in. Just to note that the dirt driveway is quite long and steep - I was glad we had an AWD vehicle to navigate it. Also one of the reasons the house is so beautiful is the use of glass everywhere (including bathroom walls). This was not a problem for us but if you are with a group you may want to bare this in mind. All in all, a truly spectacular property.

Sue and Jonathon were wonderful hosts. The accommodation was exactly as I expected and more. Such a magical place. So beautifully designed and decorated. They also helped last minute with extra pizza kits for the wood fire pizza oven (one of our favourite things to do now!). We saw an array of birds including a bower bird and enjoyed the walks around the national parks. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend Ian. Ian was friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable with where to go and what to do in the region. Ian’s accommodation was immaculate and well appointed. Blaze and Buddy (Ian’s horses) were also super friendly. Could not fault our stay at “The great Eskape” and would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Ian.

This little cottage is a piece of heaven on earth! An extremely comfortable retreat in the peace and quiet of a beauty-full landscape. I highly recommend for anyone wanting quality time out to recharge and rest. A perfect retreat for writers and creatives. :)

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Sasha's place. Thank you for the fresh laid eggs and home grown passion fruits. My kids enjoyed feeding the chickens, goats and cows. Which Sasha provided feed for during our stay. Our wood was well stocked too. It was just what we needed 🏡 Thank you

Great place and location 20 mins from Kenilworth and 20 mins from Maleny. So much to d between these 2 towns. Highly recommend the Kenilworth bakery and try a 1kg donut or sausage roll, Kenilworth Dairy for great cheese. Gardners Falls and Kondallia Falls for great walks and swims and Flame Hill Vineyard for great QLD wines. The general store around the corner is a short 5 min walk away with really friendly staff that serve barista coffee and food, as well as all your essentials. The location is quiet and private with beautiful big windows that overlook the banks of the Mary River. The firepit, kayaks and BBQ were a great addition to. For any non-Australians looking to stay be mindful of keeping your doors shut to ensure bugs and mosquitos don't get in and pack insect repellent if you are wanting to sit outside at night by the fire which I highly recommend. Also if you are wanting to kayak down to the river be mindful when walking around the long grass as there are likely snakes there

Such a beautiful view. You never want to leave. Very calm and peaceful place.
