Beach house vacation rentals in Sogod

We, 2 families, 4 adults and 3 boys, spent 8 days within this spacious villas. Though the location is not close to downtown Cebu and no WiFi there, we had a great and fun experience, relaxing, fantastic sea view, nice swimming pool and etc. Margie and Vivian are very helpful and warm hearted. This is a good place for holidays, and I have recommended it to some of my friends.

Very friendly, helpful and accomodating host. Little bit hard to to find from the street, but the friendly locals helped me find the place. Its an upstairs rooms with common kitchen area, and common CR, private bedroom. Very comfortable bed, even I chose a single bed. Very clean and well organized. Very good and reliable internet for business matters. Breakfast is offered if you order the night before, very reasonable. Welma is a great host, this is a great value for the money, highly recommended.

The place was even better than the pictures. The presence of the lovely dogs adds to the overall experience. Ma’am Janette and her husband were kind and even gave us some food. The experience feels like a retreat for us. The sound of the waves and birds. Beautiful in daytime and nighttime.

Our family spent a blissful three days at Eking's beautiful villa. We wanted a place where we could completely relax and unwind, and this suited our purposes perfectly. The villa itself is lovely and comfortable, with lots of windows to take advantage of the stunning ocean views. The property, right on the ocean with private ocean access, is lovely. Our three sons (21, 19 and 17) enjoyed the pool, billiards, kayaks and paddleboard, and we took advantage of the opportunity to have the staff cook some meals for us. The rate was quite reasonable and May's cooking was great! A few notes: the villa is pretty far removed from towns of any size, so it's probably not the best place to stay if you are looking for a central location. It's ideal as a getaway, a place to unplug, unwind, and just enjoy the beauty of the ocean. Also, the second bedroom is on the lower level near the pool with its own entrance, which was perfect for our older sons but might be a problem if your children are small. The property does not have a sandy beach, so if you're looking for a typical beach experience you might be disappointed, but we enjoyed just lounging in/around the pool, enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean. Eking was wonderful to work with, very easy to communicate with and very helpful with our questions. The staff on the property was wonderful. They really do a wonderful job of keeping the place tidy and they helped us with everything we needed. We were all sad to leave and would go back any chance we got!

The house is perfect for a nice and relaxing stay with delicious food all professionally prepared in the thatched roof kitchen and dining area with great views of the ocean. The pool is a great focal point with lots of seating surrounding it. The kids enjoyed beach combing during low tide. The nearby hot springs and hike to a waterfall is a nice 1/2 day excursion as well.

The place was lovely, the view was relaxing seeing the pool area and glass house from the living room. Although we encountered a little hiccup regarding the malfunctioning microwave, which our host let me know on the day of the check in. I would have appreciated it if I was told beforehand because we brought microwave popcorn. Although, the caretaker Ms. Neria was clear with her instructions and tour of the Airbnb. She even offered to let us borrow her rice cooker as the previous guests misused the old rice cooker and left it discolored. The glass house was cozy, and offered a really nice view of the sea and sunrise. My family members however complained regarding the water pressure in their bathrooms. Hope this can be fixed as well. Other than that, we loved the karaoke and the pool! We are also able to use the grill for barbecue and the ref and freezer were functional, which was fortunate since my family brought a lot of food. We had a good stay for a week, the barangay we were in was really quiet. The aircon was cold, and the parking was great with a gate. Their are local food options right outside on the street and stores really close if you need anything. All local pinoy places! we did eat at Lawntaw up the road from the house.. soooo good! I would be happy to come again.

The beach villa is superb not just the facilities - gorgeous view, nice garden, lovely indoor/outdoor family room and delightful bedrooms, but the team on hand cooking and cleaning is absolutely thoroughly attentive and caring. What is more Mark himself gives great suggestions for local visits and attractions, helps organise logistics and really considers a visitor’s needs. The whole team is attentive, flexible and keen to please. They cook up a storm of fantastic local and western cuisines and take feedback into consideration. We had a fantastic stay and will happily return for another relaxing family holiday!

Miss Margaux's home was beatiful. It was a big property where people and pets can run around. The house holds 3 spacious bedrooms with queen size beds. They have 2 extra foam beds and 1 big floor mat. 2 big bathrooms and 1 powder room. There's a functional kitchen as well with 2 butane stoves and a grill. Access to the beach is a 2-3 minute walk. Overall, the place was safe and well-managed. The property manager and Miss Margaux were responsive to queries :) Thank you for having us!
