“Above and beyond! This was our 2nd time and has become our official midway stop for our East Coast travels! Melissa and her Carriage House are spectacular. We felt safe and comfortable (amid the pandemic) to stop here: 2 teens, 2 adults, 3 dogs and 5 foster puppies. Melissa didn’t bat an eye when the gypsy caravan rolled in: 2 vehicles, uhaul trailer and a band of misfits. She welcomed us warmly, had wine and beer chilled and gave us a local restaurant recommendation. We missed booking her Cottage as well so we bunkered our clan in the one place- it worked!! The girls loved the bedroom. Hubby and I bunkered on an air mattress Melissa provided. She had everything ready for us so we didn’t have to unpack much before the next days 9-10hr journey home. We love love love this quiet rural area. The property is so peaceful and allowed all of the dogs to gave their own space to unwind and sleep. Definitely an adventure we will all remember. See you in a few months Melissa!”
Adorably rustic - 200 year old cabin at Crazy Blessed Farm. Fully furnished, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, cable tv, and all the comforts of home. Centrally located between Florence, Darlington, Hartsville, Cheraw and Bennettsville. This is a great getaway or stopover!
“Talk about Southern Hospitality! Joanne and Duke were friendly, fun to talk with and most hospitable. I waited too long to book a hotel to watch the solar eclipse so none were available near Sumter. Society Hill is less than 80 minutes away and we didn't mind driving between these two towns. We learned a lot about the history of Crazy Blessed Farm and Society Hill from our hosts. On a hot summer day, Joanne brought a slices of watermelon that they grew. The cabin was a neat and charming place to stay for our first trip to the old South.”

“This was the second time staying at Robert's home. He is a wonderful host and his home is beautiful. I really like the pool and patio. Also a great fitness area next to the pool. Robert was very responsive to my questions before a during my stay. I definitely recommend staying here when you are in the area.”
