Monthly Rentals in Smallingerland

Very nice and well-kept apartment, beautiful location on the water and walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. We had a few wonderful days in the beautiful area.

The place is perfectly maintained and I didn't miss anything. The hostess Aukje lives right next door. She is very friendly and if you need anything, then the short walk next door is enough. Good supermarkets close by. Since I was only here for road cycling, I can't write anything about the city of Drachten. But for road cycling, it is an ideal starting point for extensive tours in all directions. I'd love to come back.

We enjoyed staying on the houseboat located in a very quiet area at the marina. The property is right on the harbor overlooking it and is right on the water back. It offers all the amenities you need for a holiday. The host is extremely nice and was helpful at all times and has already offered support when booking and responded flexibly to requests. The location is ideal to cross the adjacent Alde Faenen National Park, e.g. by rented boat (independently via Greenjoy in the harbor). Also can visit beautiful cities nearby such as Leuwarden, Sneek, Joure etc. I fully recommend the accommodation.

Definitely a five star, very peaceful setting but still close to the town. Able to park our rental bikes in a secure area. The rooms were spacious and lots of sunshine coming through the large windows which had a great view. Would certainly stay again!
