Farmstay vacation rentals in Slovenia

Sasha's house îs situated în a small village 20 minutes South of Postojna. It is an old family house renovated and beautifully decorated. It has everything you need for a longer stay, to include a small swimming pool. We only stayed 2 nights but wished we could stay more. Sasha îs a great host. He welcomed us, offered drinks and small gifts when we left. His attitude was always proactive and offered great recommendations. We felt great and we would love to come back. Thank you Sasha for a warm welcome and for making us feel like home. We would come back because the area offers a lot to do. See you next time Marian

Perfect for a calm family vacation. Located at the end of the village far from any big road with a beautiful view, different kinds of chicken & parrots, and lots of space for playing outside games. Very nice apartment, good communication & service. Note that the Zanestra apartment receives little sunlight inside (but loads of sunshine outside). We hope to come back!

I really enjoyed the peacefulness of your chalet and the lovely farm & your friendly pets.Also drinking my morning coffee watching the sunrise & the prancing Red Deer! The convenience to all the beautiful nature parks , points of interest and Lake bled ,etc.etc.

We spend a beautiful weekend in the stone house ✨ The surroundings are marvellous as is the hospitality of the hosts that offered us homemade natural vine, olives and prepared a very tasteful, nice breakfast 🌞 Showing us around the garten and stroking the playful cat Gino made us feel very at home! Thanks again to the whole family and all the best, Moritz and Julia :)

Simon was a great host. He arranged for us to eat a delicious meal of local cuisine, with family-made sausages and garden vegetables. We learned about the history of the area, and grew to appreciate his whole family. We felt so much at home! We highly recommend staying at Miranda's Bar, where hospitality has been at the highest standard for five generations. The beds were comfortable, and rooms were spacious. The village of Pivka is quiet and picturesque, and near to the cave and castle attractions. We want to come back!

Everything was perfect! Ajda’s parents are doing a beautiful and difficult job but they still give time to their guest and make you feel you are home. The house is great but THEY will be the reason why those 4 days will stay as a memory . So I will just say that if you go in Slovenia just go there!

A stunning location with impressive views and so peaceful. The owners were very informative and so helpful. The house is perfect for a relaxed break with a superb spa setup. No need to think whether to book or not, just book it won’t disappoint.

Beautiful and comfortable house, equipped with everything. Always kissed by the sun (when there is), we enjoyed it in a great way, being able to do everything that is not possible for those who live in the apartment. Eating outside, setting fire, watching the stars, or just doing nothing sitting around listening to the birds with a good glass of wine in hand. The place is extremely quiet. If you want the jacuzzi, remember to request it expressly at least one day before directly from the owner. In early November we found all the farms and wineries nearby closed, do not rely on us. For trained (or electrified) bikers we highly recommend a ride through the surrounding hills.

Perfect place to stay while in Bohinj area. The host,Marina, is wonderful and ensured our stay was perfect in every way. She checked on us that we were comfortable and it was very easy to communicate with her. The home is neat ,clean and updated . We were a few minutes of walking distance from the bridge and river. She has bicycles available to explore the beautiful area. Plenty of good food to experience in the area. We really enjoyed our stay here

Absolutely magic place. Silence and peace. Very beautiful around, you can walk for hours. The forest near the house is full of mushrooms. Paradise for those who want to escape from civilization. Wonderful friendly hosts, trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We arrived after midnight after a very long road and Ivanka and her husband waited for us and took us to the house. The house is fairytale, with a wood-burning stove for those who still remember what it is. At the same time, there are all the modern amenities of civilization, Internet, a good shower, a well-equipped kitchen with an induction stove. Ivanka left us a very tasty homemade pie and grapes from her own garden. A week spent in this house was a wonderful vacation for the whole family. Note: this house is not for you if you have problems with steep stairs - two bedrooms are on the second floor, which is reached by a steep stairs. And it is not for you if you are afraid of gravel roads uphill.

The house is in a beautiful location, among the hills. The hosts live in another house on the farm, they were around if we needed something, but never intrusive. The farm is near the woods, the nearest big supermarket is about half an hour away. It wasn't a problem for us, the roads can be easily travelled by car, even in rain. We travelled with a 1-year old baby and we had everything we needed. Lots of toys for the children, cows, bunnies, cats and we especially loved the friendly dog, Lucky :) We had a wonderful time, Janja's family made us feel like home. She was incredibly nice and attentive, made it possible for us to really relax. Her hospitality was touching and the home-made groceries were extra delicious :) We hope we can return some day.

We had a wonderful weekend in Bled at Matija's place. The apartment looked exactly like the photos, everything was clean, and we felt at home. Matthias is a helpful and very friendly host. Definitely recommend

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful house. Incredibly well supplied with all you need. We had quite a bit of rain and fog but still hiked up to the top of Kum twice and really enjoyed our time. Hope to come back when there is a little more sun shining.

Very beautiful place and a perfect home base to visit national parks and such around the area. Host is very nice and helpful. Highly recommend and would stay again if I were to come back!

The house is exactly as described: spatious, with many bathrooms, a sauna, a laundry, ... It is located in the mountains, so temperature is never too hot. Since it is is within the national park you can start hiking form the house. There are many trails available. The house is located at around 25 minutes by car from lakes Bled and Bohinj. Roads are in a quite good state. So it is easy to reach one of the lakes and start an activity nearby: canoeing, biking, swimming,... Jackie is a superhost: she was reactive and always willing to find the most appropriate solution.

Beautiful, modern and very clean apartment. We felt comfortable The proximity to the highway was somewhat disturbed.

We had a fabulous stay in Bled and Jure was the perfect host. The house was clean, well equipped and the beds were comfy! Jure was very friendly & helpful, even letting us store our luggage on the last morning so we could take a final walk to the lake on a very snowy day! The location f the house is perfect for walking to the castle or lake, although there are a few steep hills! Overall I would highly recommend

Andreja's apartment is simply very very nice. A highlight is the sauna and the fantastic view from the balcony. If you are looking for peace, this is the place to be.

Ana and her husband were above and beyond kind and fabulous hosts! Every time I asked for anything they provided it immediately. We had 12 adults (cyclists) staying here and were comfortable. There is So much great riding in this area! a small thing to know ahead of time: The kitchen is narrow, so it works best to have 2-3 people cooking for everyone. Would 10/10 rent this house again!

Amazing stay, exceeded expectations. Beautiful apartment. Loved the walk to the local beach. Lots to do in the area, do need a car.
