Cabin vacation rentals in Slovenia

We had a great week in a nice, ground floor apartment with a well-kept lawn in front of the entrance, where you can relax on the sunbeds. Great exit point for sports activities. Daniel was a super host, quick to respond to our questions.

Hiska Erika is a beautiful and cozy house with a lot of attention to detail. The private hot tub and infrared sauna are great for relaxing. The house is located on a small mountain and invites you to relax with its quiet location. The host Boris was always available for questions. We also got wood for the fireplace in a timely manner on request. We received many tips for excursions. We were particularly enthusiastic about the trip to a small private farm, where there was a tasting of homemade cheese and sausage. We are very satisfied with our vacation and will definitely come back here again.

We had a great few days at Darja and Borut's place. The cabin is beautiful and very quiet. The hot tub was our highlight :) Everything you need is available, from shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer to dishes, pots, pans, vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, coffee pods, kettle and much more. We didn't miss anything and we highly recommend the place!

Very nice location in the pine forest, very good privacy, but also close to few restaurants, ski and cross country areas incl. rent offices. Hiking routes in walking distance. Supermarkets and gas stations are up to 30 mins drive. Very comfortable hot tub and sauna. All we needed was in the house. The house was very clean and fresh. All the equipment was new and functional. Communication was useful and friendly. Owners are very helpful and know the area very good. Very romantic and natural place to stay out of cities and big crowds.

We had great 2 nights at the house. Tjasa and Milena were really friendly and welcomed us with some selfmade sweets. The house was very clean and the outside area was perfect. Private sauna and jacuzzi were really amazing. We can highly recommend it, it looks just like the pictures. Thank you for the hospitality Tjasa and Milena!

Eva and her husband were great hosts. They even made us the fresh bread, a great soup of fungi and burek! The place is beautiful, nestled in the hills! Highly recommended!

We stayed 1 week in Sabrinas tiny hut which had enough space for the two of us and everything in the kitchen to cook basic meals. Thanks for the brand new fridge! It was so silent and peaceful, exactly what we needed! In about 1 hour drive you can reach many hiking spots. There were some pretty heavy thunderstorms in the region and the road to the hut was sometimes challenging to pass with all the serpentines. The view is stunning and we loved that the neighbors cats came by sometimes. Oh and Sabrina and her boyfriend are really nice and friendly hosts :)

Very nice chalet in the bird ski resort. We spent 3 great days here and enjoyed the mountains. Fie hosts were very helpful

The hut was clean, well equiped and the camp team was very kind. It is also a great camp in general and in the perfect location to explore the Soca valley.

Pierpaolo is a very welcoming host and his house is truly beautiful—everything has been restored with obvious care and immaculate attention to detail. He was always available nearby to answer any question we had but we also felt that we had total privacy. Škocjan is a lovely village (if you are planning on staying here you are certainly planning to visit the caves) and a great base for further exploration—there is a remarkable feeling of peace and isolation despite the fact that it is a quick drive of under an hour from LJU and just a few minutes from the A1. We benefited from many of Pierpaolo's excellent local recommendations. Highly recommended.

The cabin is easy to find if you follow the GPS point from Airbnb. Checkin is at the main house of the family, and they will guide you to the cabin. They are very welcoming and friendly and whenever we saw them they offered a coffee or a Schnaps. They messaged us the day of our arrival, asking for the time of arrival, and again before we checked out, as they are one of those hosts that really care and like to be there in person. The cabin is exactly like on the pictures and is a few meters from the village. The cabin is shaded until late in the morning and from early evening, which is a real blessing in summer as you can always sit outside and wont get too hot. Especially the kitchen was very well equipped which made cooking super convenient. And they do provide the basics like salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sugar, coffee and flour. The grill is a gas grill (gas bottle is provided) and is located outside under the patio where you can also sit and eat. We really enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely magic place. Silence and peace. Very beautiful around, you can walk for hours. The forest near the house is full of mushrooms. Paradise for those who want to escape from civilization. Wonderful friendly hosts, trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We arrived after midnight after a very long road and Ivanka and her husband waited for us and took us to the house. The house is fairytale, with a wood-burning stove for those who still remember what it is. At the same time, there are all the modern amenities of civilization, Internet, a good shower, a well-equipped kitchen with an induction stove. Ivanka left us a very tasty homemade pie and grapes from her own garden. A week spent in this house was a wonderful vacation for the whole family. Note: this house is not for you if you have problems with steep stairs - two bedrooms are on the second floor, which is reached by a steep stairs. And it is not for you if you are afraid of gravel roads uphill.

We stayed at the cabin in early January 2025. The location is beautiful, very quiet & private. Surrounded by very beautiful nature with a great view. The cabin is lovingly furnished & you have everything you need. The beds are very comfortable, especially the cuddle corner with great views invites you to linger. The host was very friendly, respectful & helpful. The cabin was extremely clean in all areas. In addition, the sauna was also a great way to relax. We recommend this place for quiet & relaxed stays, especially for couples. And look forward to seeing you again! 😊
