This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Slow & Easy is a multi unit, waterfront property located between Lower Bogue and Current settlements on the main island of Eleuthera. Locals refer to this area as "Current Ridge". It is situated on the south side of Current Road, right on the water. The amazing views, from the enormous dock/pavilion, are priceless. The shallow, sandy bottom water is perfect for swimming. The cottage is approximately 200 feet from the ocean.
The space
The beach hut style cottage is brand new construction. There are currently three cottages built. There may be guests staying in the other neighboring units. The cottages are very simple. There is a TV and internet available. There is all the basic comforts you would need, including air conditioning, heat, refrigerator and hot running water. There is also a microwave, electric skillet, small tabletop bbq grill, portable blender and a Keurig coffee maker. The king size bed/bedding are high quality and very comfortable. There is a full bathroom, an eating space and a very small kitchenette type space. The small entry porch has 2 very comfortable chairs as well. A picnic table is situated on the back patio, where you’ll also find an outdoor sink. There is an extremely large dock/pavilion situated right on the water's edge featuring a cozy swing.
Other things to note
There is a "house manual" visible once you book the cottage. There is information regarding helpful things and tips. There will also be contact information for my caretaker, taxi service, car rental and boat fishing/snorkeling excursions.
Although there are a few restaurants and grocery stores in the neighboring settlement, we recommend renting a vehicle to really enjoy all the island has to offer. We also recommend bringing enough cash for your trip. ATM’s are few and far between.
