The Limehouse Cottage

FionaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Limekiln Cottage is so unusual, it's hard to capture. An old cottage uniquely situated on a river, the river practically runs under the house. Oodles of room. We went for Christmas and the cottage was decorated with a beautiful tree and lights.Highly recommended. Also Andersons Boathouse restaurant in Killybegs also worth a visit.

Tree Top Apartment

JacquelineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Right from the second we hit the lane I was in love, beautifully kept grounds and amazing driveway. I didn't have the chance to meet Robyn as she was busy doing clean up after that horrible storm but I had the pleasure of meeting her lovely mummy Dawn. Dawn explained everything to me very clearly including instructions on hot tub, heating and of course about the lovely wee village. I could have chatted to her all night and she even brought 2 gorgeous dogs to greet us which made my stay better. I would totally recommend staying here especially if you love forestry and lakes. Omg the shower is amazing too. You deffo have to use it 😂. The worst part of this trip was having to leave. I absolutely loved it. Everything was just perfect. Thank you for having us Robyn and lovely to have met you Dawn ❤️

Seaview Cabin

NiamhRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had the most beautiful stay at our cabin. I wanted to get away with my partner and little dog Alfie to destress and spend quality time together before returning to work and what a place it was to do this! Bundoran is only a 5 minute drive from the property, giving Alfie plenty of space to run around, though the garden where the cabin is was also enclosed and safe. The hosts provided some great recommendations for dog friendly places in the local area too. The cabin its self was the real WOW. It was cosy, clean, warm and the hot tub was fantastic. I only wish we could have stayed longer, we will definitely be back! Thank you to Lorcan & Tara for a beautiful, stress-free weekend in breathtaking surroundings.

Exclusive holiday home in amazing location!

JudeRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Fabulous location of property, scenic and beautiful. Large and spacious accommodation which suited our needs. Host left a selection of goodies for our arrival which were greatly appreciated (and enjoyed! Thank you!). Caretaker very friendly and responsive-quick to solve any issues. Perfect amount of correspondence from the host and quick with replies. Property would benefit from handrail to main entrance and also inside by the couple of steps outside the toilet. This is a personal suggestion as we were a group with limited mobility and this most likely would not be an issue for majority of guests staying here. The football themed bedroom was a delight to one of our party, who just by chance is an avid Arsnell supporter!!! 😄 We really enjoyed our stay and quite possibly will return. Thank you very much

Atlantic Way Retreat with Private Hot Tub!

RhysRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Visited here for 5 days and it was a great experience. The place was clean, plenty of room for 4 people and kitted out with all of the essentials we needed for our stay. The location is excellent with plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops, within walking distance. Tricia was attentive and was very good at communicating with us throughout our stay and even dropped in some cupcakes for us. Will heavily consider coming back here when we next visit Ireland.

The Red Bridge Cottage

GearpidRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had an amazing stay in Maireads place. Great location for getting around Donegal. House was well furnished and very comfortable. Really good value and Mairead was quick to respond whenever needed. The newly added hot tub was a great addition and added greatly to the experience. Really good not to worry about additional charges for using the hot tub as it would be in other Airbnb venues.

Lakehouse Apartment with Hot Tub and Sauna

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The view from the window is scenic. The place is quite and serene. The hot tub overlooking the lake is an amazing addition to the the experience, it reminded me of Iceland with its hot springs. The house was clean and an interior is stylish. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. We visited a week after the storm hit Ireland. There was no electricity in the area, and the house was supplied through the generator. It was quite far from the house so there was no noise or smell or any discomfort around it. Sauna is infra-red and wasn't hot enough to allow swimming in the lake afterwards. Mary was very kind and welcoming host, it was a pleasure to be her guest. I would recommend staying in this place for anyone considering.

Noreen was a great host and very friendly. Any questions we had before booking she was extremely approachable and gave great recommendations when we arrived. The location is absolutely beautiful, very rural which is what Donegal is all about. The views of the mountains whilst sitting at the table outside for a coffee was the view I needed after Christmas week. Ardara centre about 10 minute drive away with a vary of different bars and food places to tickle your needs. Will definitely consider booking again in future.

Hazelwood Holiday Home - Cozy & Homely

BernieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I was in Sligo for a weeks work and the location was absolutely perfect, both for work & for the town; a short drive to both a forest walk & a beautiful beach. Having basic supplies provided was great & it made the trip hassle free. The cherry on the top was been able to bring my dog along and having a friendly pooch on the property always up for a chase and some playtime. Thank you, Chris, Colette & family.

Peaceful Country Cottage

AlRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Well you can't get much more peaceful, the cottage is perfectly described in the name. it's a beautiful cottage, a decent size and has literally everything you'll need for your stay. We had an amazingly relaxing few nights, chilling in front of tge fire and enjoying the place. ten minutes drive by taxi your in gorgeous Drumshambo, few tasty pints in Conways and a taxi home in no time, the locals were so friendly and it was such fun. Next morning we were fishing for pike in the beautiful Lough Allen, only minutes away again, no luck this time unfortunately. Everything was arranged easily with Margaret and we got some great advice from her colleague Gerry. We will definitely return soon. Thanks Mags x

Apartment in Restored Farmhouse.

A very spacious and comfortable apartment with a gorgeous view, sheep included. Close to town but feels like countryside. Town is a pretty 20 minute walk away. Regina is a devoted though not intrusive hostess, with lots of good suggestions for places to visit. Nearby Westport has natty shops and fine food. Try Hotel Wyatt — try their magnificent mussels. The region is a seafood haven.
