Had an incredible time at Alexis's place! The place is very spacious and the perfect, quiet place to stay to enjoy Ontario's nature scene. Sunrise view above the water was surreal & the host was incredibly helpful, responsive and kind throughout our stay. This space included a wide variety of useful amenities which facilitated our stay! 10/10 recommend!

This tiny place was spectacular! The hot tub was a definite draw. The surroundings were beautiful and the house was super clean, nicely decorated and made good use of the small square footage. Our family of 4 was very comfortable and we enjoyed the proximity of nature hiking trails and Kenora centre. Fire pit, outdoor shower and the outdoor spaces made it feel much bigger and highlighted the beautiful outdoors. Keeli was responsive, friendly and gave good directions.

This place is a hidden gem. The kitchen is amazing well equipped with quality kitchen ware. The beds are very comfortable with great pillows. The cottage property is so well kept and beautiful. The lake is crystal clear, you can see the fish come right up to you. It is also, so quiet and a birder’s delight as a host of birds can be heard including, rough grouse, cedar waxwings,wrens, loons, eagles and many more. Anna is an amazing host, she went above and beyond finding us a fishing guide Jamie K; who brought us out on the lake for a day of fishing and great memories. Thanks again Anna for everything!

We had such a great weekend at John’s place! The house was very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was super convenient, and John and Trish were very welcoming and friendly. They responded quickly whenever we had any questions or issues and were really supportive. Erin’s place was easy to find, easy to access keypad, clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The fresh farm eggs were a bonus for breakfast. The pullout couch was extremely comfy and easy to pull out. Erin was very responsive with check in and out. Will stay again for sure!

We enjoyed our short stay very much. The place is lovely and in a wonderful area with great views. the bed was very comfortable and the heat in the home worked very well. It also has a good shower, which we appreciate. As a plus, their dogs are super nice. :) We would absolutely recommend.

This space was so magical. The windows are huge and look right out to the water. The October weather was perfect during my stay, with all the autumn colours coming out. There’s lots of hiking trails nearby and the best part was seeing the northern lights on the last evening. This space was beautiful - there was everything that a person would need in the kitchen and it was so thoughtfully styled! I had an amazing time and I hope to come back!

We had a great stay and found it was close enough to downtown that we could walk and do some exploring. This was our first time staying at an airbnb and it was a great experience. We were in town for work and wanted a place to stay that could be a little haven after long hard days. Well this was it. Beautiful lake views, a gorgeous setting and windows everywhere! Donovan was able to respond to questions right away if we had any, and he was very friendly during the entire process. Definitely returning again for the next round of work.

Ashley was an amazing host! We needed to make a last minute reservation and she was able to get us a cabin right away along with an early check in! The cabin was beautiful and right on the lake. We loved having access to mutiple boat landings and being able to have fires at night. Very cozy and quiet area. We plan on going back this winter and making it our new summer vacation spot!

The Citadel is a beautiful place and the cabin was really cozy. Grahame was super friendly, responsive, and accommodating. We really enjoyed canoeing on the lake and having bonfires in the evening. The sauna is a really nice amenity. The website for booking watercraft, the sauna, and firewood was really easy to use and a nice touch.

This was the perfect place for a group of guys who appreciate the comforts and conveniences of home after a long day of fishing. The kitchen and fish cleaning space were well-equipped with everything you need. The living area and beds were comfortable. And the entire place was clean and well-kept. Shane was prompt in communicating and was very accommodating. And, to top it off, the weather and fishing was great! Thank you, Shane, for sharing your space with people who share your passion. We hope to be back!

We booked the star dome for my husband’s 42nd birthday. It was amazing! The views were breathtaking and the dome was beautifully decorated and provided all we needed. The wood stove was perfect. The easy to light logs sure helped when it started to rain and the wind came in! We remained warm and cozy in 2 degree weather. The outdoor kitchen was easy to use and had everything we needed to cook a gourmet meal. The outdoor shower is heated!! We enjoyed a hot shower in the wilderness and is an awesome sensory experience that everyone one must try! This location exceeded our expectations and the hosts were lovely! Salt of the earth. Take your hiking boots and pack your cameras! Don’t forget your fishing tackle!!

I had a great time during my stay over Thanksgiving weekend at Wildwoods Hideaway! The instructions given prior to my arrival were very clear, accurate and helpful - I was able to find it very easily. They were very quick to meet me on my arrival. They gave very simple and thorough instructions on how to use things, which was very helpful as someone who has never used a wood stove or propane stove. I had a very relaxing time at their property! This is a lovely property with beautiful scenery to keep you occupied! I didn’t need much from the hosts during my stay, but I saw them working around the property throughout the weekend and I’m sure they would have been very willing to assist, if needed! I would recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back one day!

By far one of the nicest rental homes/cottages we’ve stayed around LOTW. So many thoughtful and comfortable details. Everything we needed for a memorable family trip. Close to amenities and yet still felt like we were at the lake. Home was well equipped and tastefully decorated. Clean ++ and like new. Raymond and Sue were excellent hosts!

Cameron was an exemplary host throughout our stay. responsive leading up to and during our stay, helpful, generous on recommendations and accommodating any questions we had. The cabin itself is an absolute gem, with plenty to do in the area for outdoor activities and exploration. the cabin feel cozy, rustic, and simultaneously luxurious with everything we could ask for, and then some. could not recommend more highly and will certainly be back!

Serena's place was wonderful, we had a really relaxing stay for our anniversary. The views were beautiful, the screened in porch was perfect (we want one of our own!), we had a fire overlooking the water, lovely walks, and the place was spacious and pristine. We will definitely be back!
