Monthly Rentals in Silver Star Mountain

We had a wonderful time. The area had a planned power outage for a couple of hours as we arrived, but they cranked up the heat beforehand and we cooked a pasta dinner on the gas stove while we waited for the power to come back. Our dog loved running around in the snow, and we skijored with her around the neighborhood. The house was perfect, would definitely stay there again.

The cabin is modern, clean and very functional space. It was well stocked with most items could you require, especially the kitchen. There were multiple means for heating the space, which turned out to be critical during our stay when overnight temps were consistently below zero. Only a few minutes drive from Mazama which is very convenient for skiing, and obviously in the warmer months the North Cascades are closeby. Would definitely consider staying here again!

A cozy, secluded, lovely spot tucked into the hills north of Winthrop, WA. The vibe here is definitely self-reliance and we enjoyed our stay. We think you may as well as long as you are comfortable tending a wood stove in cold weather and spry enough to climb steep stairs to the sleeping loft. We will definitely book Cub Creek Cabin again--if it is available next time we plan to be in the area!

What a special spot! Beautiful location, lovely space, incredibly clean, and had everything I needed. Kim was really responsive and friendly. Loved how close the house is to lots of trails both directions. Will totally come back here!
