Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sierra Mágina

We had a lovely 10 day stay and could have happily spent another 10 days enjoying the beautiful private gardens and lovely views. The house was clean and equipped with all the essentials; and Juanma was an extremely helpful and friendly host! There was a lot of information at the property about a wide variety of local excursions/attractions which was really helpful. There are fantastic scenic walks on the doorstep and a variety of castles, reservoirs and nearby towns worth visiting, Granada is also easily reachable and caters to a range of interests - car definitely recommend! We unfortunately ran behind a little with check-out and the hosts couldn’t have been more courteous and understanding.

Enchanting! That is my word for Ignacio’s home. The view of the Alhambra is unreal - in the morning, in the fading sunlight, at night, from the terrace, from the living room, from the bedroom. Amazing! Also, the home is spotlessly clean. Ignacio has beautiful art, books, and glassware - some of it his own mother’s creation - is not to be missed. The home is hundreds of years old, yet still seems rusticly updated. Importantly, the air conditioning and ceiling fam work great! I won’t lie the Albaicin is a challenge - the hills, the stairs the cobblestones - but I am so glad we stayed here. It was magical to fall asleep with the view of the Alhambra and the stars and to wake up to it bathed in golden light and hear the sounds of the the birds joining the morning chorus of life. The pool was lovely but our stay was too short for us to really enjoy it. It was nice to dip in the cool clear water after a hot day of walking. I highly recommend Carmencillo en Calle Carro.

The kids were excited to play in the pool and nature. At night you can see many stars. The house is cozy, clean. Cortijo gave us detailed instructions on places to go and restaurants nearby. I was always very touched by your kind words. There were many different and nice scenery around, so I enjoyed it every day.

We had a really good stay in Cajar. While the owner doesn't speak English, we were great at communicating with a translator, he was always quick to respond to messages and help with engagement whenever the need arises. The house is located in a beautiful, quiet area. The garden is surrounded by greenery, which gave us complete privacy and comfort. The kids had plenty of space to play, which was a big plus for us – we highly recommend it!

Carmen’s house is the best Airbnb our family has ever stayed in. Not only is it a gorgeous home, but it was also well stocked and immaculately clean. Carmen was so kind and easy to communicate with. Prior to our arrival, she suggested a few places to see a flamenco show so we could make reservations in advance. When we arrived, she met us at her place, gave us instructions on how to use everything, and provided us with maps and information on how to travel throughout Granada. She even provided us with fruit from one of her trees, milk, cereal, snacks, coffee, tea, and some other items. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! We would definitely stay at Carmen’s house again.

Accommodation as described. Best of all, being able to enjoy the pool in the middle of August. Laly was attentive to all our needs from the time of booking. She welcomed us upon arrival and explained everything to us, and she also came to say goodbye, even though we left the accommodation very early. During our stay she wrote to me to ask how we were, very attentive to us. That's how it is to go on vacation.

Very cozy and clean apartment in the center of town, very close to bars and restaurants. It's easy to park in the parking lots or on the streets recommended by Estrella, who gave us very useful information. It is close to Granada and several points of interest to take routes or enjoy the scenery.

A little paradise in the valley!! We love the location and it's settings. Perfect base to explore the nearby national park, many little towns, reservoirs, and geopark with awesome landscapes and unique cave houses. Loved my morning walk to the friendly village bakery to get yummy baked goods. The host is very friendly and considerate.

Truly this was the perfect space to spend our time in Granada. We were close to amazing food, the Alhambra, hiking, and many other activities. Moring walks to the best coffee and breakfast, followed by a relaxing stay throughout the day, was truly a gift. We loved every corner of the space, from the elegant decor to the amenities and location; this was a gift of a space to stay in. We will be back and know where we are staying when we do. Thank you!

Beautiful apartment , very spacious, close to everything. Alfredo was very helpful. He responded immediately when I contacted him.

Quiet area, a little far from downtown Granada but easy to catch transport to get there. We chose this place because we were traveling by car and wanted an area with parking. It wasn't that easy to find parking, but with some persistence we got it. Maybe because it was the weekend it was a little harder. However our stay was great, the apartment is suitable for two people, with the essentials to spend a few days. It also has the bonus of having information about public transportation and recommendations. Manuel was a great host, available and gave very clear instructions.

It was all great! Very conveniently located, quiet, beautiful and private. He even helped us pick up a cell phone we forgot there after check-out! Thank you very much! We look forward to repeating.

Antonio’s place was located at the foot of the Alhambra, close to the city center and great restaurants. We walked all over to explore Granada. The outdoor patio was especially lovely, overlooking the river and the city center. Great bed and bathroom. The washing machine was very handy. Communication was excellent!

We loved this place and would stay here again next time we came to Granada!! It felt immersive in old world Spanish architect, close to everything, and the views of Alhambra were unbeatable. The apartment is quaint and cozy with everything you need. We like to sleep in cold temperatures and this time of year it was plenty cool with the windows open at night. The bed is not the size of a king bed in the States (it’s a queen), BUT since I filtered for a king bed when booking I’m glad they had marked king size or we would have missed this gem. Also the hosts were incredible helpful and responsive. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Love the place. This is my second time here. I will come again. Surely!

Great villa to spend a few days enjoying the pool, barbecue and Carlos's amazing house. We were able to visit Granada and all the wonderful surroundings, Carlos is always attentive to any questions, giving recommendations and making the stay very pleasant. Highly recommended!

We spent 4 days in the unit. We felt right at home, it is as shown in the photos: spacious,beautiful,cozy,super clean,with a lot of details (toiletries, water bottles, board games...). Pablo, the host, was always on the lookout for what we needed. Very attentive and kind, even welcomed us with some welcome details. It's been a great stay, I'm sure we'll repeat.

We had a great time at this place in Otura for a family gathering. We were 6 adults and 5 children and we felt comfortable. The host even provided 2 baby cots and 2 high chairs for us. Communication was very easy. The proximity to Granada is perfect if you have a car, and the view of the Sierra Nevada is a plus! Only downside: the kitchen is a bit small for the number we were but we were still able to manage. The pool is clean and unheated - but that didn't stop the kids from enjoying it. Thanks again for a great time. We would highly recommend this listing.

Stunning location and house. So quiet and peaceful, a perfect place to relax (especially in the pool!). Within a short distance of various places to hike. Eirin was super helpful and responsive, and gave some great recommendations for local food and activities. We intend to return.
