We loved the house and location; the pool was beautiful and each of the rooms was so spacious and well equipped. Its a unique property: lots of artefacts, sculptures, one-off pieces. It was great for 6 people: two couples and two singles, and each of the four rooms was equal quality inclduing having a large bath. (This is rare in a 4 bedroom place, when often one room is 'less' than the others.) The second floor is accessed via a spiral staircase, which was not accessible for two of our group, but it worked fine as they had rooms downstairs and most of our group socialising was poolside. Sophea was quick to reply to messages, communication was good. We enjoyed our stay - it was a quiet neighbourhood, easy to stroll around or book a ride, and we walked to some local eateries, the ceramic school, a fair trade shop, and a local Temple. The pool and outdoor area were really a highlight!

We had a brilliant time at La Palmeraie D'angkor. Fred and his amazing staff looked after us so well, with a lovely fresh breakfast prepared for us every morning and staff on call constantly to deliver us drinks and food or organise massages and trips. The villas was spacious with a wonderful pool and seating areas. One thing to be aware is that each bedroom is separate with locks on the door to the outside terraces (as opposed to being inside a villa with a lockable front door) so we felt uncomfortable putting our young children in a bedroom on their own as planned and instead had an extra camp bed put into our room (which Fred's staff willingly arranged quickly) Also the villa is about a 15 minute ride into town which suited us as it meant the villa was quiet and peaceful. Tuk tuk to town generally cost around 2-3 USD on grab. Overall a fabulous experience, which was made by the attentive friendly staff. Highly recommend

The accommodation was excellent. The staff extremely friendly and helpful at all times. Superb swimming pool where one could swim under the moon, and the gentle glow of the pool lights. Furthermore, and importantly, for a country where temperatures hit 36°, the laundry facilities were quick and efficient. I must admit the quality of the ironing was as good if not better than I do at home!

The place was such a nice retreat from the hustle and heat of siem ream reap. We had a large group of family and friends (including older adults and babies) and the villa was perfect for our stay. Everyone had their own bathrooms attached to their rooms. We cooked meals and ate outside every evening. We had a car so we could easily park on the property. We hung out by the pool every afternoon to distract us from the heat. It was perfect. Ma Ra was such a great host and even joined my parents for a lovely evening chat once in a while. My parents appreciated it so much. Can’t wait to stay here next time we visit Siem Reap.

Great stay! Such a helpful and kind host, picked us up from the bus station and even dropped us in to town! Great recommendation! Beautiful room and surroundings outside! Host went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and were happy! would stay again.

The place is just as the pictures posted! It felt right at home with all the toiletries that were available. Easy to find. Great location for all popular attractions and restaurants. Caroline was a very responsive host who was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us lots of suggestions about which activities we could do and book with her. The hotel is a peaceful sanctuary with a beautiful pool to relax by. We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Facilities were good, and the accommodation was spacious and comfortable. We were able to walk into Siem Reap in around 30mins, but you can easily get a tuk tuk. Christy was a lovely and welcoming host.

If you are looking for a place in Cambodia which feels like home away from home , this is the place. David and Dani are exceptional hosts who are clear in communication. Rooms are very spacious as described, clean and everything works as expected. They offer various other services within the premises as well. Light breakfast is also available. Most busy streets and restaurants are walking distance from the room while the hotel itself is located in a green location. Get ready to explore Sieam Reap !

Very nice place. The hotel restaurant is excellent, the staff are very kind, very nice. Responsive to every request from us. The accommodation is very nice and the pool needed after a long day of visiting when it's hot. Located not too far from the temples but need to take a taxi to get there.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Siem Reap. There is a lovely large staff who cater to your every need. The restaurant serves spectacular authentic food. There is a complimentary tea every day from 3:30 - 4:30. They are happy to help you with all of your travel needs. There is nothing that could be improved about this place. Highly recommended.

LH residence is so clean and nice to stay. Channak the Airbnb host is so accommodating and friendly, he offered us to pickup at the bus station since we traveled from bangkok. He pick up us at the bus station even though it is already midnight and help us with our luggages. He offer it for free if we avail the Angkor Wat Services Tour. We avail their tour packages and enjoy the Angkor Wat tour. We avail also their offer with the car service for drop off at the bus station as we are traveling to Vietnam. He even help us up with calling the bus company since we are having a hard time connecting with the internet and he help us with finding the bus station. He even offered us a quick tour near pub street and night market. Overall our stay at the LH residence is very recommended to tourists visiting Siem Reap and their staff are so accommodating and friendly. Our stay is very good and very comfortable. It is indeed a five star.

If I were you l, quit looking for other places to stay and book Tanei Resort and Spa now. My parents and I spent 4 nights here, and we had an amazing time. My parents loved the place, plus Channa was indeed a very nice host. Though I haven't had the chance to meet him personally, he tried reaching out to us from day 1 of our stay. Our flight was delayed and arrived in Siem reap at 2 am instead of 9:30 pm, and he let his driver wait for us at the airport. In the morning, Channa called us up in our room asking if everything was okay, and if we need tour arrangements. Everything was perfect even the staff in the hotel are all very nice. Special mention to Chabb, chanmuy and Koykjv. They all made our stay extra special. There are available tuktuk drivers in the hotel who can bring you to the Pub street. Thanks Again Channa for the great accommodation!

Sophea’s place was beautiful- just like the photos and so pretty. The beds in the pool area were not like the photos but when I told Sophea, he had them specially made and brought over - the previous ones had gotten mouldy. He also brought over new pots and pans and replacement water as soon as requested. The Tuk Tuk contact that he gave was very helpful and able to take us to the temples, as well as to the airport in his 7 seater van. Overall, a great experience and I would thoroughly recommend.

We will definitely be staying at Chheak’s place again next time we visit Cambodia. If you’re visiting Siem Reap, and the Angkor Wat temples, this place is a hidden gem. It’s a beautifully peaceful homestead, with garden, library and a small school where elementary and middle school children attend (although children were there only one day during our visit). Chheak and his wife are tremendous hosts, making us feel super welcome, like old friends. They made us two amazing dinners (for an extremely reasonable cost) as well as coffee in the morning, and provided bikes to rent as well as helped us source a motorbike. Chheak’s local recommendations were also great. Definitely recommend renting bicycles and visiting Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and Bayon temple which were our favorite. As a runner, I also enjoyed two runs around the neighborhood, great 5-10K loops seeing the beautiful surroundings, rice patties and local village. Thanks again Chheak!

What a nice surprise that this place offered by Sophead. Well located for moping in the Sophead area will fold in four to accommodate all your requests. The bungalow is very beautiful and comfortable and if the mattress was a little hard for me, it was changed as soon as I shared it with Sophead. The 2 pools are also very good and comforting after busy days. From morning to night, Sophead's team was attentive to us with a multitude of small touches. The breakfasts on the terrace were also most enjoyable. Impeccable service, kindness at all times, perfect organization and ideal accommodation...we recommend it without reservation. Unbeatable value for money. Thanks to Sophead and all his team!!! One last note to advise Soon and his tuk tuk to go on tours where you will, prudent driving and he will always do his best. Great!!

Although the Wi-Fi was a bit weak, the other things were nothing less than perfect! The location is super convenient—close to the pub street. Rooms are cleaned daily, and there is a cheap but super tidy washing service. Last but not least, the owner is so kind! They also invited me to the birthday party of one of the staff members. That was one of my precious memories. I'd love to choose this accommodation next time I visit Siem Reap for the remaining sightseeing spots I missed this time.

Fantastic pool and lovely rooms for good price. There was a little confusion over kitchen use at the start but the family were kind enough to let us use the cooking facilities a few times. We found the location to be good and despite closeness to the centre, we had quiet nights!

Great for the price. I stayed for a long time and have no complaints. It's easy walking distance into town but far enough away that it's a nice place to hang out and relax. Small pool to cool off and good AC in the room. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. responded to any messages I sent instantly.

Unfortunately we had an issue with the number of people and the rooms but decided to stay at least a day. The house is perfect and Sothea is such a wonderful lady, she gave us multiple recommendations and her beautiful daughters was so much fun to hang with.
