Betsy Lee is friendly and helpful! She greeted us when we arrived and made us feel comfortable instantly. An eagle perched on a branch less than 100 ft away from the porch, and regularly patrolled the creek over the 4 days and nights that we enjoyed in the subtle creek sounds and early signs of spring. With Rickets Glen close by, this is likely to be a destination we revisit in the future. If you are looking for local things to do, Betsy Lee has you covered… and if you just want to lounge the hours away in the romantic tree nest apartment and porch, she’s more than happy to give you your privacy. Donna's place was very nice! The house was beautiful and clean. The decorations and furniture were modern. The house has many large windows which really add to the home and view! The porch was a very nice place to relax with a gorgeous view of the mountains and valley. My family enjoyed access to the hot tub and pool table. I would definitely recommend this place to stay, and visit nearby places like ricketts glenn and worlds end state park.

It was great house with views didn’t get to experience outside too much coz of weather it was raining but enjoyed our stay there.Beautiful views.

We love this house! This is our second year staying here, and we hope to make it a yearly visit. It's set in a nicely wooded area with plenty of open fields that often have deer, turkey and other wildlife that make morning and evening appearances. The pond is thriving with small fish, and I felt that the toads had plenty to say about us visiting their space XD and the hot tub just adds another layer to relaxing in nature. We also love that it has an almost-off grid feel while still being able to connect (with upgraded internet from our previous stay!). We watched plenty of movies in the comfortable family room, spent a lot of time chilling at the dining table, and overall was able to relax in a comfortable, clean environment. We would recommend this place 100%!

John is a great host and this is my go to stay when I'm working in the area. It is always clean, quiet and there is plenty in the area for food and the convenience with all the local shopping places needed to feel right at home. Thank you John for being a super host.

Two senior brothers who appreciate the outdoors and God's nature selected Stacy and Tim's cabin for our annual spring fly fishing and photography trip destination. We hit a home run by selecting their cabin overlooking Beaver Lake and located adjacent to some of PA's finest state parks, streams and forests. The cabin's quality, comfort, cleanliness, unique architecture, and furnishings are exceptional in all regards that exceeded our expectations. Stacy's communications, support and responsive email replies were excellent. Very early morning coffee on the deck with fog on the lake highlighted by turkey gobbles was fantastic. Thanks Stacy and Tim for sharing your awesome retreat. Looking forward to being back, your place is truly the best.

We booked this place for the view and hot tub and wow it did not disappoint! The location was good for our hiking trip- world’s end, ricketts glen, and seven tubs were some of our destinations and this was in-between them all. The house was beautiful, furnishing comfortable- kitchen stocked with the cooking basics, pots pans etc. Us two couples with two kids and two dogs had plenty of space, comfortable sleep arrangements, good WiFi, literally not a complaint! Have to mention the view again- sunset and fire pit… just amazing. Highly recommend this house if you are looking in this area!!

Agree with other reviewers - better on the inside than outside. Clean, comfortable. Just down the street from the main site with multiple cabins, the office, and direct creek access. Will consider staying at one of those cabins next time.

I was looking for a new place to stay at and not have to be in a motel anymore. Nancy’s rental was just what I was looking for. I enjoyed being in the area and was glad that I could get to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon in a short drive. Was glad to have all the information provided by Nancy for my stay there. The area was very nice and peaceful. Loved seeing all the different kinds of birds at the place. The kitchen and dining room area were amazing. Glad to have a coffee maker there for my morning coffee breaks. I will definitely be using this place again for my Christian friends who are also nature lovers like myself with another extra day and night. Lots to do and see if I get an extra day there. Instructions were very clear and helpful when using the place.
