Vacation rentals in Shkhara Glacier

This is a great house in Mestia within walking distance of the city centre. The house is very warm and cosy, even in winter. Davit is a great host — friendly and helpful. The last time I visited Mestia, I stayed outside the town, in a quiet forested area. This time, being closer to the centre, I noticed that the dogs barking at night could be a bit disturbing. However, this is not specific to this house, it’s just that there are many dogs in Mestia, so keep that in mind. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It’s a lovely house with a great host. We had a great time in the cute log cabin. When we arrived at the address, the owners kindly took us to the lost cabin in the middle of the fir forest. The calm is absolutely there, everything is very beautiful and clean. The view is amazing from the living room and large bedroom. Just an improvement that I can offer: the kitchen countertop is very high, for small people like me it would be nice to add a small step to do the cooking and dishes.

A gorgeous drive in breathtaking scenery, then a bowl of hot soup and fresh bread waiting for us in a beautiful, clean and perfectly updated home with incredible charm and love. Tamta was the most amazing host with perfect communication and an eye for design and hospitality. Tamta and Emma made all of our meals, lit fires for us and welcomed us with local specialities like cucumber and tomato salad with walnuts, homemade cheese, tkemali, and mchadi. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and warm and there was plenty of light and hot water. There are several breathtaking walks from the house-we love animals and enjoyed seeing the pigs, boars, cows, and friendly local dogs. I wish we had reserved a week. There was so much to do for families that love the outdoors, history, and reading by the fire. We went home with our bags full of quinces, local honey and incredible memories of Georgia! We had a lovely week with our family. We were able to enjoy this quiet and peaceful campsite, the pool is lovely too. Anne and Juan Carlos are very friendly, concerned about the well-being of visitors. Unfortunately, the mosquitoes were there, but the screens on the windows made it possible to sleep peacefully, we were still able to enjoy the outdoors without problem thanks to the repellents. Small disappointment when we arrive, we find that the photos are not representative, they suggest that the view is clear on the mountain; in reality there is a location occupied by a tiny house just across. We recommend this campsite for families with kids and four-legged friends.

What a beautiful place!! The photos do not do justice to this place. Serene, peaceful, beautiful! We went in April 2025! Even though the skiing season was coming to an end, we had a lovely time staying at this place. Ana was super helpful and communicative. The apartment was neat, with a functional kitchen and hot water, electricity, and wifi 24X7. Center of town in a 5 min drive where you can get most of what you need.

Great place to stay - clean, cozy, and well-located. Amazing view from the terrace, and Leila was incredibly helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

The apartment was good sized for two bedroom. There was a nice balcony off the back. The views from the apartment are beautiful with the mountains. The hosts are very nice and friendly. It was dog friendly. One thing to note is the staircase up to the apartment is a spiral staircase which can be difficult for people with limited mobility. We enjoyed our stay here in the beautiful city of Mestia.

Perfect place for familles or groupe of Friends with several rooms, bathrooms and beds. the view is beautiful and you can easily walk to the main streets of Mestia and all the restaurants. Natia was also very helpful whenever we needed help from her. I recommend! thanks
