Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Shizuoka

The host, Kim, was very kind and welcomed us with our baby.The inn was clean in every corner, and outside the large windows there was a beautifully arranged garden, and I was very satisfied to see Mt. Fuji from the inn.The facilities, including the sauna, were well equipped, and I had an experience that exceeded my expectations.

Tucked into a fold of the hillside above Old Itoh, floats Ukiyoe House. With a hawk's eye view of the sea from Hatsushima on the left to Teishi rock on the right, it's a step back into retro Japan. The proprietor, Jiro, greets you at the entrance, attends to the evening bedding and ensures that your stay is comfortable and relaxing. Stretch your legs as far as the crooked lanes of the old town past the shops of a once must-visit seaside village of fishermen and spas. Not to mention historical sites and a quiet black sand beach. This is definitely best kind of Air B&B in Japan !!

We had a perfect stay here. The house was very comfortable and had everything you would need. This was the first listing I think I could actually live. We visited 3 nights with my wife and 1,5 year old daughter. Plenty to do in the area, either closeby or an hour driving away. The host was super kind, very quick to respond on any questions we had and gave tips during our stay. Absolutely recommend this place.

The space was very clean and beautiful. It is fully equipped and functional. The listing is close to all amenities. This made our stay easier.

Great house with amazing view!

I love every bit of David’s place. It is located in the peaceful neighbourhood of Joēi, which you can see Mt. Fuji on a clear day. The house is spacious and has everything I need to stay comfortably for a month. There are big supermarket and drug store within walking distance, and with the bike David provided, you can go to a large shopping mall and pretty much all living necessities within 15 min. David and his wife Naomi are extremely friendly and helpful. Recommended me good restaurants and also useful tips to get around. I enjoyed my stay here very much. I highly recommend this place to other travellers when you want to escape the crowd and experience Japanese rural lifestyle.

The place is located on the hill with the amazing mountains and ocean view and prestine facilities just as shown in the photos. You can also ask Yukitoshi san for the private boat fishing. It was very relaxing and fun at the same time! You can bring the fish you've caught to their restaurant and they will cook them for you. That was quite a remarkable experience! I will definitely come back here again! The host is very responsive and kind as well. Strongly recommend to stay this place of you are looking for something slightly rural and Onsen(Hot spring) experiences!

I stayed for two nights during the New Year holidays It says there are only large plates, but The table was large, so there was no problem There was an earthenware pot and a cassette stove I should have asked (I brought it) I recommend it because it's a comfortable home I was in a hurry to check out I didn't get to say goodbye to Rolf Sorry about that Thanks for your hospitality Thank you

Airi was very friendly and helpful, we stayed at her apartment, which was lovely and had a beautiful view of the sea. The surroundings were spectacular but maybe were bit difficult to move by foot, but there were busses that connected to shimoda station.

We stayed on the 1st floor, easy to access, izakaya at the door, not far from the local family supermarket and the bubble soukan, in the middle there is also a park with a lot of history, the surroundings are very quiet, very suitable for relaxation, very close to the bus stop, which is more convenient for those who walk freely.

We had a great stay and no complaints about the property. It was spotlessly clean, check in and check out were seamless and there was cleaning products left for us as well as a fully furnished kitchen. We were very comfortable the entire time. The hill is no problem if you are relatively fit but getting our suitcases up the first day was a bit tough. If you are looking for a hub between Odawara and Hakone, this location works fine and the accommodation is very close to Iriuda station, however if you plan to explore areas like Mt. Hakone / lake ashi it does take a little more time to reach from this location.

The property is on top of a hill and will need to walk a bit.But the view is beautiful.This room is equivalent to three separate rentals of one villa, but separate from each other.The host was very kind and responsive.Overall good.

Big house with ample space, beautiful view of Mt Fuji down Honcho street. There was a food recommendation list provided in the house, where my friends and I had a wonderful dinner at the nearby izakaya.

Very clean and well-designed space. The onsen access was a special, authentic treat! The personalized advice I received about local walks and places to visit was extremely appreciated. This is a great resource.

Three generations and five of us stayed.The staff were friendly, flexible, thoughtful, but not overly sophisticated balance, and both elderly parents and children were very relaxed and enjoyed from the beginning.There are two rooms on the second floor, up the stairs from the first floor where the restaurant and cafe are located.The room was spacious, simple and modern, and the bedding and amenities felt comfortable to use and considerate of the environment.The room had a full glass ocean view, and on the balcony, we had a relaxing and luxurious time lying on the sofa while listening to the night breeze, the sound of insects, and the sound of the sea.The area around the kitchen is necessary and well-maintained, so you can bring ingredients and condiments to cook.You may also be able to borrow knives.At night on the sandy beach, you can take a quiet walk in the morning, and the water bus comes out in front of you, and the center of Shimizu is also just a short walk away.The restaurant on the ground floor also had a good atmosphere, and Marine Sports seemed to be fun.I'd love to stay next time.

I had a great stay.Thank you very much.There was an accident where the power went out for a few hours due to lightning, but I felt that the response and action were always quick and that the guests were always put first.The place was also fantastic.The house was larger than the photos, close to the sea, and new, so I was more satisfied.Thanks to you, I was able to enjoy the sauna, BBQ and music.We will definitely be back.

The condo is located right off the main drag and directly across from a semi-private cove of one of the best beaches in Shimoda! The photos are true to life, the place was in pristine condition, all appliances worked out perfectly, and the bedding was super comfortable! Cheryl is a great hostess! The one thing we wish we could have changed was the weather, as it was misty and windy during our stay, and then of course, the sun popped out the day we had to leave :( Hoping we can get a do-over and land Cheryl's place again some day!

Beautiful space just as advertised. Very good heating and amenities. We found the location convenient for a family with young children with a rental car- easy to get to various places in Odawara, lake Ashi, ropeway and the open air museum. Rei was very responsive, checked in on us and assisted where we needed promptly. Hope we get to stay again!

Stayed for three days and it was tiring to climb. Overall was good!
