We stayed in Heda for 4 days. The cottage is very traditional - exactly what we were looking for. The hosts have renovated it themselves with a lot of love and stocked it with everything you can think of. Everything is well explained and understandable. The hosts are a very nice couple and always helpful. We had a great time together - thank you! Heda is an old small fishing village on the water. The harbor is very nice. You have everything you need - but it is secluded. For us, this location was the perfect getaway between Tokyo and Kyoto.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ryohei’s place in Lida. Such a beautiful, traditional japanese home with lively amenities and beautiful surroundings. Ryohei and his family were extremely hospitable and welcoming. He also helped us to harvest vegetables from his field and heated coals so we could cook them inside. He even called ahead to make a reservation for us when we were going to a restaurant for dinner. Overall it was an amazing experience and we would live to visit again next time we’re in Japan!

Good for family to experience old style Japanese house.Full equipment kitchen include oil, sauce everything for cooking. Host give free ticket for free drink and onsen. We will love to come back again.

David was extremely accommodative and made us feel right at home. He took us to and from the train station and gave outstanding restaurant, bakery and local tourist attraction recommendations all of which were reachable by Bike. He even took us for a nature tour where we got to see many off the beaten path attractions that were the most breath taking we’ve seen on our tour of Japan. The Guesthouse is quant, super clean and fit all of our needs for our week stay. The best airbnb host in all of Japan! Our stay at Dai and Sara’s restored countryside home was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. Dai even took us on a memorable trip to see Mt. Fuji, which was such a special experience. Dai’s passion for the home he lovingly restored truly shines through. The house itself was peaceful, rejuvenating, and filled with charm. The amenities were fantastic, and we especially loved relaxing on the patio overlooking the breathtaking mountains. One of the highlights of our stay was the bamboo workshop, which we highly recommend! It took place in the cutest little studio and was such a fun and unique experience. This stay was a true escape, and we left feeling completely refreshed. Highly recommend!

I stayed for my boyfriend's birthday celebration. For a surprise, I wanted to leave ingredients, gifts, and cakes before check-in, and thank you for your willingness to accept it! It was also difficult to communicate in advance smoothly. The sauna was also very hospitable, and it was very good to enjoy in nature! Especially as a woman, I was happy that the bath was beautiful and there were plenty of amenities such as body soap! I definitely wanted to come with him next time, so I want to repeat it! Thank you again next time.

Tohru's Place was an amazing stay! On a clear morning we had a beautiful view of Mt Fuji from our room to wake up to. The area is nice and quiet. The communication was great. We had a car and there was good parking. We most definitely would love to come back !
