This apartment is a fantastic place. The location is incredible if you’re planning on skiing - hard to beat. The unit itself is modern, well cared for, and inviting. The hosts did a fantastic job as well. Above and beyond. Nozawa Onsen is a great little town and this is the perfect spot to base your stay.

This place has a great vibe. You really feel at home and the pictures do not do it justice. The inside has a lot of character, is super cozy and warm, and the bunk bed pods are really spacious and functional.

We loved our stay at Kenji’s place. It’s in a secluded location, surrounded by cherry blossom trees, overlooking a beautiful valley. It’s a bit far away from everything, but that was a plus for us - we were looking for something quiet. The Airbnb consists of one older, traditional house (with a living room, dining room, bathroom and large kitchen) and two more modern houses that were recently renovated in a chalet style (one with a living area, kitchenette, bathroom and upstairs bedroom, one with just a bedroom). Everything was very clean and the hosts were incredibly kind - they really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. They even left us lots of snacks and apple juice from their own orchard. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

From Jiezl and Brandon - Rich and Maiky were the perfect hosts. Their hospitality was absolutely amazing. We have always gone to nozawa onsen for skiing, but staying with Rich and Maiky, we were able to explore other mountains. Unfortunately we were sick during our stay and they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and able to get better. They even helped us book doctors appointments. They were genuinely really nice people and very easy to get along with. The house is quaint and homely. Waking up to picturesque views everyday was incredible .We will definitely come back and make it part of our regular visits. We are excited not only to come back in better health, but also to come back and show our families this little gem in Iiyama. We can't wait to come back. Thank you so much Rich and Maika for everything.

Words cannot express how much we loved this accomodation. In another world we would have stayed longer and spent more time with the friendly team. Best location for snowboarding, great food options and such a cool and unique experience. The staff were happy for us to leave our bags there while we were on the slopes, let us shower after we had checked out and were the best. Stay here if you want a cool and special experience!

Hiro and Megu were both super lovely and responsive. They had some great recommendations for food in the local area and were always up for a chat. The house itself is tucked up a side street close enough to the main road that it’s never noisy but super easy to get somewhere fun. 5 minute walk from the main gondola is a big win too. Will definitely stay again if I ever return to the area!

Loved this little house - perfect for two families to stay in while skiing in Nozawa. Perfect and walkable to everywhere - even for little feet. Hosts were amazing at helping with restaurant recommendations and booming reservations. Full kitchen to cook breakfast and many other meals. Would definitely stay again!

We will try to come back in the winter! We had a great time there during the green season. Everything at the bakery is amazing. Lots to do in the area.

Super amazing hosts. All the small things were thought of by the hosts. Everything from the board games and town info sheets to the drying room for ski gear and the dishwasher!

Great stay in nozawaonsen! Mark and Yoshiko make everything very simple so you can simply enjoy the snow for your stay!

A really nice apartment, very well maintained and clean. Looks just like in the pictures. It is only a short walking distance from the Main Street with plenty of cafes and restaurants. The kitchen and dining area were great to do your own cooking. Very comfortable beds. The hosts always responded within minutes with recommendations and helpful advice. Great stay!

I felt as comfortable as if I were staying in my second home. If you're planning a ski trip, I recommend this place. It is located close to Kumanoyu Ski Resort. The rental equipment quality is not the best, but having the option to rent gear directly at the accommodation is a big plus. There is a staff who is proficient in English.

LOVED THE STAY!! They allow dogs which is great and the rooms are very spacious. I love sleeping on Japanese Futons (Though people who like soft beds might not) It is in a good location for both skiing and night life. Nozawa Village is hard to get around with steep hills and narrow snowy streets but once you are checked into the stay you are set! They have a dry room but it is very small which is quite normal for Nozawa. The service was top notch and they bent over backwards to accomodate our every need. VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED!!!

Great spot for large party/family. 5-7min walk from karasawa lift. 15-20min walk to main gondola. Bus stop is a minute away but if you wanna be the first ones up the gondola, make the walk or get a cab.

Very clean and spacious for three

Great place! The neighborhood gets real quiet after 10 pm. Right across the street from an onsen and within a 5 minute walk to three others. Less than 10 minutes walk from the base stations. We are already looking forward to booking again!

The stay was very clean and spacious the host was very helpful and friendly. It was in a quite location but it was a bit far from restaurants and the onsens.

My kid and I had a great 4-night stay at the corner house. The location is perfect, peaceful yet close to restaurants, stores, and onsens. The well-stocked kitchen made meal prep a joy. It truly made our visit to Nozawaonsen extra special, a real gem!

Perfect for families or group stays. Ryuta's place had all necessary amenities. :)

We were also very quick to respond to requests such as rice cookers and baby chairs!In the morning, you can see woodpeckers from the window, and it was a very nice place.
