I enjoyed my stay at Genki House. Yuki is very friendly and bakes really tasty bread. The accommodation is very large and clean. It is in a quiet neighborhood away from the touristed areas. You should ask to pick up groceries/food/anything else you might need before arriving to the Genki House.

Great place to stay, nice to decompress and relax. Grocery store is only a 10 minute train ride. Absolutely recommend if you want an honest look at Japanese lifestyle.

Yusuke was a great host, very clear instructions and very responsive and friendly. The home was beautiful and had such a lovely view to wake up to. lots of attractions, hikes, beaches and shrines a short drive away. Clean space, futons were made for us before we arrived, and good amenities as described. A pleasure to stay there.

Takeshi’s place was so incredible! The view of the water and mountains was unbeatable, and the private beach and mountains hikes were so beautiful. The house itself was so unique and special for us to stay in, we felt like we were getting a very authentic experience. Takeshi is a wonderful host and helped us have a wonderful time! Thank you we’ll be back!
