Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Shimoda

Excellent hospitality for 5 days on New Year's Eve! I also had a 4-year-old daughter, but there was a step table, children's dishes, and there was a trampoline, balls, swings, and badminton in the garden, so I could enjoy it with my family without having any time! My parents were also with me, but there were two bedrooms on the second floor, so the sleeping space was comfortable! There were a lot of citrus fruits in the garden, and it was fun to pick tangerines, and it was delicious.😋 Thank you!

Absolutely stunning house!!! We were blessed with a beautiful view of mt Fuji! The only <less than perfect> instance we had was while enjoying the hot tub at night, the lights automatically shut off at 10 to not be a disturbance to the neighbors; it was alarming to us as we couldn’t see anything and the bedrooms were being occupied with tired moms. (The host said to just turn the indoor lights on in the bedroom if we needed light, which wasn’t an option for our guests).

I felt the luxury of having free time.The chirping of the nightingale and the sound of the trees swaying in the wind freed my head and mind from the busy daily life.JK's polite service also gave me a sense of security, and it was a great trip.Thank you very much.

Absolutely loved this place it was a perfect spot to relax and take in all the wonderful surrounding nature. The property was spotless and we loved the onsen, sauna plunge pool and cinema. All very easy to use

Nice environment in a spacious balcony with a nice view of the sea and a train passing by. There are toilets and showers upstairs and downstairs so many people are easy to stay

The view outside in the morning was superb. I was very happy to have time to take a sauna while looking at the view. The host also responded quickly, which was very helpful.I think the interior is also clean and there is nothing to say. It's a nice space that can be enjoyed by either a small or large group.

Loved staying here, really quiet part of the mountain but close enough to local shops and attractions around Hakone. Utilising the hot spring and sauna was the cherry on top. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Hakone.

We had a very pleasant time! The 100% natural hot spring and sauna were the best, and I went in many times during my stay and was healed.I think it's irresistible for hot spring and sauna lovers. The host was also very polite, and the advance exchange was quick and reassuring.The host explained various things about the location, and I had no worries. I also appreciated the local recommendations and various restaurants.The izakaya they introduced me to had delicious local fish sashimi, and all the other dishes were great too! Relaxing in the hot springs, eating delicious food… I had a very satisfying stay.I'd love to go again. Thank you!

This is my second time staying at this Airbnb, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. The place is consistently clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The bed is super comfortable, the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable (perfect for working remotely), and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a short or extended stay. What I appreciate most is the host's attention to detail and warm hospitality. Check-in was smooth, communication was prompt, and they went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. The location is also a huge plus it safe, quiet, and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and key attractions. It’s rare to find a place that offers this level of quality and service at such a great value. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area. You won’t be disappointed. Great spot for any large groups passing through the Izu peninsula. Very clean and large common areas and central to all the areas we wanted to explore during our trip.

It’s a nice and super convenient house in hakone, the house is right next door to one of the best restaurants in Hakone for bbq. Both indoor and outdoor hot spring is super nice. Room is cozy. And the best feature was the kitchen’s wear!! The stove is really nicely done and all the equipment is very nice. The bathroom also equipped with Dyson hair dyers and all the dental and vanity sets. It shows the house owner really cares about us to provide a luxury 5 star experience. Everything is extremely cozy with luxury touch.

Thank you for a wonderful experience. It is located on a hill with a good view, so you can enjoy both the sea and the mountains. There were insect repellent measures that even women could feel safe about, it was clean, and the abundance of dishes was also helpful. The scent of wood in the bath and sauna is the best.

I misunderstood that the firewood was free and used my own firewood, not knowing that it was included with the fire pit rental service.Thank you for your understanding and patience in this matter. The facilities were also fully equipped, and the polite and prompt service of the staff allowed me to have a safe and heartwarming time with my family. This place was incredibly clean and well-stocked with cooking supplies—we barely had to bring anything ourselves! All the kitchen equipment, cookware, and dishes were in excellent, like-new condition. We especially loved the onsen—it was such a relaxing highlight of our stay. The only downside was the mattress, as we prefer firmer ones. However, the host thoughtfully provided a few tatami-style floor mats in one of the bedrooms, which turned out to be very comfortable. It would also be great if there were a dishwasher to make cleanup even easier. Also, se do wish the checkout time could be a bit later lol, but overall, it was an excellent stay 10/10. We’d definitely consider coming back!

If you only prepare ingredients, there are seasonings and sauces. There were few ingredients at the nearby supermarket, so I thought it would be good to prepare it in advance. All of the meat from the butcher you mentioned was delicious.

The sauna, water bath, and natural hot spring were all pleasant to use!The description of the facility was also easy to understand, and we had a comfortable stay.

Beautiful cabin. Very comfy beds. Couldnt fault the place. Be careful that local restaurants close very early. Would certainly recommend this place. Was a shame that we would be charged a lot extra if we wanted to use the BBQ.
